Derek Hough Shares Update After Wife Hayley's Second Brain Surgery

- Derek Hough shares a positive update about his wife, Hayley Erbert, after she suffered a cranial hematoma earlier this month. She underwent a second surgery to replace a portion of her skull, which Derek reveals was 'successfully completed.'

I am speaking from experience Derek when I tell you that when she opens her eyes after the surgery and she sees you there next to her, talking to her or just holding her hand….walking with her around the hospital you have given her the moon and the stars. It happened to me and I was forever grateful to God for sending me someone like that. My prayers to you and your family.
That is so true!! When I had spinal surgery 1.5 months ago it was rough and I was at my most vulnerable moment and my significant other was right by my side when I was in the recovery room til I was wheeled to my private room. I saw the moon and the stars even when I was crying. At that moment I realized that he is the one for me.
thank god they had the funds and near to doctors who could do the surgery because so many probably just died.
Most emergencies get treated.
In sickness and and health,till death do you part.Praying for the two of you everyday.

Just goes to show you can have it all and then one day you may not. I love these two and Derek is a wonderful husband and person. Not an ounce of ego for how insanely talented and successful he is. I could never understand why Derek had not been snapped up by some woman. He seems like such a genuine, kind, caring person. I was always rooting for him to find someone to love. I was married for 39 years but me my husband had been together since I was 15 we were together for 48 years he was my Superman he was so good to me and our sons and 5 beautiful grandkids he was awesome the best I could have ever been blessed with hang on tight I miss him so much I cry every day because I lost my everything I lost me as well as him always tell her I love you because you never know when it will be the last time
Thank goodness she is doing well, I speak from experience, a loved one had brain surgery also and is facing a full recovery also, my prayers are with you and your family.
