Disability payments rising? Is this being brought in with the specific aim of benefiting benefit 'new arrivals'? This will cost the British taxpayer tens, possibly hundreds of millions. Almost everyone off the boats is TOLD by advisors of ALL the benefits they are ENTITTLED to. Without ever having paid a penny in National Insurance. They even fill in the forms for them so as to get them every penny available. Enabling them access to a lifetime on full disability payments without question or recourse to 'appraisals' like disabled British people have to be put through.
Some have no choice when the doctors and nhs keep delaying treatments. My ex work colleague needed knee surgery delayed and delayed, and now it's affected his hips and now needs a complete hip replacement from something that could have prevented.

72 million for the coronation. King paid no inheritance tax. They rent their properties to the NHS. But you should go to work for pittance and pay tax so immigrants can be housed for free in hotels and Kier can get his heating and clothes paid for by you. Everyone needs to start being lazy.
This REALLY annoys me. There are currently 300,000 UK citizens disabled with Long COVID. This is from ONS, and only cases known about. The actual figure is likely very much higher. This number has INCREASED by 100,000 from the previous year. It's a medical, and economic issue being swept under the carpet. Where is this being mentioned when talking about an increase in PIP claimants????!
I’m English David Bull yes I claim PIP I have Cerebral Palsy and cos I’ve had pain mainly in my legs all my life, I’ve been told by doctors that pain will never go away. So I’ve now also been diagnosed with Chronic Pain. Yes I do suffer also with bad mental health and sometimes feel suicidal not been able to do simple tasks what abled bodied people take for granted. I would love to of been born without a disability cos for all I’m great full and appreciate the benefits I receive, I would swap places with you David Bull in a heart beat. Please show consideration for genuine disabled people who genuinely do deserve these benefits.
P.I.P is not an out of work payment It's to support disabled people- whom most of them would not have independent lives-which would cost even more money if these people couldn't live independently! I agree it's needs reforming , but it's not an easy benefit to claim at all
And stop misrepresenting what these things are for. PIP is for helping with the ongoing living costs of disability. But if you present it the proper way then you can’t defend the pension costs anymore I guess. Considering it’s over half the bill now.
Many people don't want to do jobs they feel are beneath them and literally say we can import people to do those jobs so they don't have to, and that attitude has to change, and we need to stop just bringing in cheap labour because they take more out of the system than they will ever contribute and we cannot carry on like that. We are making ourselves poorer just so some who are too lazy or up themselves don't have to do certain jobs.
A major government study was commissioned to understand this phenomenon. That is, people not wanting or not being able to work. It was discovered that they were sick and not idlers. That study was in 1842. This lead to the 1848 Public Health Act. Successive Public Health advances, continued to improve the situation. So, we have been here before. Public Health has been largely abandoned in the UK over the last 15 years.Young people do not know this because they do not know what was there before. Nevertheless, the results are the same as in 1842. Our bodies have not changed in that time. It has resulted in people being too sick to work.
Dont blame them. Emloyers are so fussy there and then when you do get a job they say "we are paid to get a job done" = unlimited free extra hours. Go PIP!
The old saying 'Don't bite the hand that feeds you' comes to mind here. The more dependence on money from the government the more control they have over the masses. Equal out the masses to ensure that they get their vote every time in all areas of the country..

Why would any stupid person want to be part of that just not worth working for ever for nothing.

That's providing the assumption there is a worker shortage crisis. My local Sainsbury's bulldozed their manned checkouts for self service. That's alot of jobs now unavailable. Everywhere runs skeleton crews. Sea side towns are seasonal work. Lots of jobs have 3 months plus listings. We have an industry crisis! Where are all these jobs exactly?
@ There’s thousands of jobs being filled by the third world! Deport them & the whole problem is resolved! It’s not difficult if we had a government with the will.
I have a serious health problem but I just get on with my job. I have never been unemployed but I now think "I may as well chuck it and claim benefits." However, I won't because I think work is not all about money. It's about having a purpose and contributing to society. I'm just sick of paying for everyone else who decides to do nothing with their life. There are people in situations where they just cannot work and we should 100% support that! The ones that can but won't work should receive nothing! Then, we could afford to support the people who really do need it.
God will his children be free. It is never enough and will never be enough, because the world's agenda is the imprisonment of everyone and everything and the provision of NOTHING.

He drives so he can work. (Think he's doing ebay sales), did have a flat ( may still have ) but still lives with her.

Its much more complicated than this, its also about childcare a parent will lie to stay at home with their children as childcare is so expensive.. you cannot live off one wage no longer. I know people who say their benefits will be cut. As for youth unemployment please look certain figures my daughter applied for hundreds of jobs on her year off and got nothing, until she changed her surname to mine on her cv and then she got interviews.
It’s tax free and not means tested. How do I claim it? Sorry but I wouldn’t claim PIPs as I believe in being honest. Genuine claimants, I have no issue with. But I am meeting people that shouldn’t be in receipt of it. Just bare face liars and crooks really.
Hold on a minute, my daughter is diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and coileic this is how she receives her money so without being diagnosed with those conditions she wouldn't have recieved any money
David please look into the 2 million people who have post viral syndrome (long Covid) who are out of action because there illness has no treatment but is also being dismissed by GP’s because they don’t understand the complexity of the multi system condition. I am one of them and it took me from April 2020 to Sept 2023 to get a referral to see a consultant rheumatologist who I saw this March 24. I got an amazing job in 2022 and had to leave 6 mths later from the crazy symptoms I was experiencing and the major one was chronic fatigue which I have never experienced in my life. I was sure fit 42 year old when I got long Covid.
It's sad. I'm not really sure how many claim without having actual health issues. But at times I have noticed if parents have claimed all their adults lives then their kids, now becoming adults tend to follow suit because they have been raised to claim instead of working. I just hope it's not as bad as you think. I also know people with serious health conditions who drag themselves to work everyday because they want to have the dignity of working for their own money. Some may not be able to do certain jobs but there are jobs for everyone. I have a neighbor in his early 80s still jogs every morning to keep moving, volunteers at the local food bank and works part time in a coffee shop where he loves to chat up all the ladies. 😂 What a legend!

Let’s not demonise our young. Let’s start with economic migrants. If they have no work why are they here? We don’t need to import taxi drivers, uber eats and hand car wash operators.
Why are gp's enabling these people. When were people allowed to self diagnose themselves and tell doctors they have mental health issues. That's a huge problem in itself.
I think these people are brainwashed into thinking work is something Godly. How offensive to say there's no doubt that providing labour gives you dignity. No, it doesn't if some bully is ordering you around all day, that's just humiliation. Avoid it as best you can and go shoplifting as a sport, exploit the benefits system to the max, they are corrupt so play with their rules. Life is very very short, and work is a huge waste of time. I told my friends when I was 16 that I was retired and they laughed. I went to the Philippines and sat on the beach for 4 years watching the sun go down before eating the freshly caught fish, served by Girlie, my homehelp with benefits! I watched my daught grow up, spending every day with her. They went to work because they were told it was the thing to do. Be lazy, think for yourself, march to the beat of your own drum, spend time with your family, wear good clothes but remember it's easy to get them free, eat well, enjoy music, the simple things in life, but avoid work and hospitals at all cost!

I don’t think it’s laziness. I think so many have a lack of hope and vision for the future. Why wouldn’t they when the governments have made it impossible to thrive and own property. They have nothing to aspire towards. Even holidays are ridiculous. To have kids you’d still have to have 2 parents in work and with all the doom and gloom it almost seems irresponsible to have kids. Hell food prices alone have doubled for my small family! I’m very lucky to have a home and I have 2 kids before this crazy world turned upside down. I’ve been out of work to raise my kids to school age. I have depression and anxiety but I recently got a job and the feeling is beyond words. I love feeling useful and earning my own money is magical. I’m being a role model for my kids. That said. This money would go nowhere to reach the goals of everyday people to have their dreams come true. Then you see people coming here being put first and you don’t want to work yourself to the bone for half to go elsewhere.

When i was younger, the policy of the 80's and beyond was NO WORK NO PAY. You had to work to survive?
Slavery then?
Same here but when you've worked your backside off for years and have a genuine illness, paid into the system for years, its your only way of survival, everyone hates it until they need it themselves
I was a wagon driver but i suffer with genuine severe mental health and unfortunately had to sighn on sick i would love to get the help and go back to work and lead a normal life again but unfortunately im unable to seek the help i so desperately wish for, because mental health services and GP's just don't want to know anymore, instead they just send you on your way with tablets, its very sad what this once caring helpful country to it's own people has become
Work for a crap minimum wage so you struggle to live, pay rent, mortgage, bills so you are living on fresh air and not enough to eat,the poor are being conned and have been for such a long long time.
Ignoring the elephant in the room. There's a long line of new claimants over recent years due to adverse events due to vax, mental health problems due to lockdown measures and the govs behavioral insights team psychological techniques.
When looking for a job i put my disabilities on my CV and only had 2 interviews in a year but when i removed my disabilities from my CV i had a interview every week
Many with Disabilities have work related illness not everyone has had a cushy job
My daughters mental health was caused by two work colleagues, who Raped her, Sunak stopped her pip, she's been through the mental health system and they are unable to help her, PTSD, 2 men from Nigeria, she wants to be OK but is terrified of Men now, 15 yrs later, still really struggling to cope with everyday things like going out of the house for food, she lives with me so I can help her raise my grandchildren, some days are really hard, I.m also fighting cancer, the government doesn't give a same about us,
I'm sorry to hear that, I think Psychedelic Therapy is Good for PTSD , but Sadly Not on the NHS
Omg that's horrendous, u need help, but there's non available for people like us. S
Sorry to hear what happened to your daughter. If she did get help from the Mental Heath trust she wouldn’t have been believed. I did a subject access request with my mental health trust and found awful writing stating that they never believed what I said. Also someone wrote next time send an ugly police officer so she doesn’t fall in love. Lovely to write about a person who has a facial disfigurement. I’ve been assaulted by male white Men because they think IM a freak the way I look
Its thanks to NHS bad management
@DeneMonkey it's a lot of factors, not just bad management.
I'm 61 worked since I was 16 am still working already done over 40 years still got another 6 years to go I've got arthritis and other work related industrial injuries disease and these people who work on television in nice warm offices are discussing this
I've just had to go benefits due to very long term illness due to rheumatoid arthritis from head to foot which is very painful and so depressing having this I didn't ask for this and I've worked since I was 12 starting with the good old paper round and I'm 49 now so if I could of carried on I bloody would do I hate being on benefits but looking at what my taxes go on is disgusting I never paid in for illegal immigrants or to fund other countries farmers ect my country needs our taxes and pensioners definitely not illegal immigrants and look at what they are getting its wrong and spreading them around our country they all should be tagged and kept in one place this government is shite and all need tobe removed vote of no confidence from me
I totally agree with everything you said. I also have top to toe psoriatic arthritis and MS. Its an absolute nightmare full of pain and sometimes hopelessness. My thoughts are with you.❤
@kimrice8835 thanks mine with you too x
I have been in escrutiating pain and last week I bought myself a pair of slipper boots. they sell them for men as well. I can honestly say they have helped me walk better as I could barely walk and my overall pain as decreased in the rest of my body its worth you buying a pair as you are not touching cold floors in flat footwear
@@kimrice8835buy a pair of slipper boots they have worked wonders, for me as I could barely walk and in agony all over so much better now
72 million for the coronation.
If people got paid fairly then they wouldn’t need to invent a mental health issue to keep food on the table.
Our population is probably close to 100 million. 3 million disabled is 3 percent, most of those are elderly
Why go to work when you pay your wages out in tax. Just for the government to waste.
Why should anyone try slow down what labour are doing??. Let's just set back and watch everything collapse
Leave the Genuine Disabled alone they don't choose to be disabled
One of the best factors preventing people working is social isolation.
Or laziness
@ who’s lazy?
P.I.P is not an out of work payment
It's to support disabled people- whom most of them would not have independent lives-which would cost even more money if these people couldn't live independently!
I agree it's needs reforming , but it's not an easy benefit to claim at all
a piece of advice for talk tv, please if you are going to talk about disability allow disability to be part of the conversation. ,just please.
It has resulted in people being too sick to work.
you can get PIP if you are working.
Dont blame them. Emloyers are so fussy there and then when you do get a job they say "we are paid to get a job done" = unlimited free extra hours. Go PIP!

How can people have dignity when they are taxed up to the hilt together with the cost of living.
The old saying 'Don't bite the hand that feeds you' comes to mind here. The more dependence on money from the government the more control they have over the masses. Equal out the masses to ensure that they get their vote every time in all areas of the country..

I’m not surprised at all I’ve worked all my life and for what I’m taxed on everything I buy sell save and what’s left given to family where even after death you get taxed and I’m glad I’ll never get to be old hart failure will get me well before that after paying my whole life labour will come along and take it and rob you before death just to ensure the end of your life when your supposed to be able to enjoy the fruits of your working life will be stolen and you’ll be left with nothing by government and over taxing everything. actualy you can have pip and be in work
All those young people on benefits should be out clearing the leaves from the streets etc. They should not get anything for doing nothing.
totally agree. work for your money. There are so many who are working the system.
I have a serious health problem but I just get on with my job. I have never been unemployed but I now think "I may as well chuck it and claim benefits."
However, I won't because I think work is not all about money. It's about having a purpose and contributing to society.
I'm just sick of paying for everyone else who decides to do nothing with their life.
There are people in situations where they just cannot work and we should 100% support that!
The ones that can but won't work should receive nothing! Then, we could afford to support the people who really do need it.
Oh do be quiet pat ya silly Karen
It would help if people could get nhs treatment when they needed it, not when things have become chronic.
Well thats strange because most people I know who genuinely need to claim pip are turned down.
There is no incentive to work anymore especially when you see where tax money goes i gave up work years ago to go on benefits best thing i ever did
Stunning and brave
God will his children be free. It is never enough and will never be enough, because the world's agenda is the imprisonment of everyone and everything and the provision of NOTHING.

He drives so he can work. (Think he's doing ebay sales), did have a flat ( may still have ) but still lives with her.
We are not a wealthy country we owe trillions
We need proper industries and technical colleges, as alternatives to jobs in call centres and sales.
Maybe just maybe the way you treat us is destroying us, I worked in a slaughter house and hurt my back then found out I’m autistic now I’m anaemic My life has been a misery, I do try a lot of things to get myself back to work but as I’m getting older I’m not physically bouncing back like I used to, ptsd and anxiety from living in one of the toughest poor areas been assaulted a bunch of times and because I’m a man nobody cares, this all started in 2016 maybe earlier the mad immigration of cheap Labour you made your own bed
Lots of unemployment hotspots around the country 😮 we’re we haven’t invested for decades we can’t all move to London to work 🙄
The imprisonment of everything and everyone, and the provision of NOTHING.
I am surrounded by people who claim they have depression, when they haven’t, to get pips.
Surrounded by them you say ,,, have you caught depression from them 🤣🤣
@@BP-of5cp I get where you’re coming from, but there aren’t really jobs for everyone anymore. Definitely not to be earning at the rate where they wouldn’t require government assistance. We subsidise the wages for massive companies with our benefits system.

Our old generation are snowflakes compared to previous older generations, never used to be so many gas combi boilers .
Why are gp's enabling these people. When were people allowed to self diagnose themselves and tell doctors they have mental health issues. That's a huge problem in itself.

No compassion, we have to start just cutting benefits, the welfare state is collapsing the country.
Put the national insurance up on employers and then pushing people to go back to work 😂 really??

Many kids don't have anything to look
Forward to when it comes to their future and some kids with additional needs
Need extra support to get back into work especially people like my son who could not even go to mainstream school or special school as he's meltdown were to hard to handle and had to have a tutor to home-educate him
That's how difficult he's needs make his life even through he is bright
