Overview
It missed a year of production, but the AMG S63 supersedan is back in a major way. Making use of the Mercedes-Benz S-class’s seventh-generation architecture, the S63 brings the glitz with more go than ever thanks to a new plug-in hybrid powertrain. Mercedes has dropped the previously offered coupe and convertible body styles and will offer the S63 as a sedan only, at least for now. Under the bonnet sits a familiar twin-turbo V-8 that, with the help of AMG’s rear electric motor, now produces a combined 791 horsepower and an astounding 1055 pound-feet of torque for its all-wheel drive system to try to put to the road. To ensure the S63 can get to speeds high enough to escape rising interest rates, AMG will allow its big-battery luxury sedan to reach speeds up to 180 mph. As a chariot for the wealthy with maximum performance in mind, the new AMG S63 is a quick and comfy way to usher in the industry’s electrified future.
What's New for 2024?
After a short hiatus, the AMG-badged S-class makes its grand re-entry to the prestige-on-wheels class using the bones from the current production Benz S-class mated with a promising high-power hybrid powertrain.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
While the massive horsepower will warm the hearts of enthusiasts, the AMG S63’s priorities include comfort. It sports an opulent cabin with distinctive AMG upholstery and stitching. A Dolby Atmos audio system comes standard and offers a 360-degree audio experience. The car’s 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster provides a bright and clear roster of driving info, but the real magic happens on the standard 12.8-inch OLED touchscreen that’s vertically mounted on the dashboard. Road noise cancelation and rich interior materials make the S63 an experience most only taste from limos. Headrest pillows for rear passengers and an abundance of legroom make a strong argument for the S63 as a fantastic car to be chauffeured in as well as a great one to experience from the driver’s seat.

Ich könnt heulen weil ich weiß ich werd nie so ein Auto fahren/besitzen… als Bauarbeiter, aber ich wünsch es mir soooo sehr! Absoluter Traum! Danke Mercedes, dass ihr manchen Menschen sowas ermöglicht… und jedem der sowas fahren kann wünsch ich die schönste Zeit seines Lebens…😢❤
Vielleicht kann ich dich ein bisschen motivieren. Ich hab mir einen V222 S500 geholt als 3-Jahres-Wagen. Neupreis waren 150.000 Euro, gebraucht stand er da für 57.000 Euro. Ich habe eine 3-Wege-Finanzierung draufgepackt, das heißt, 0 Euro Anzahlung, 4 Jahre Laufzeit, monatliche Rate 770 Euro. Als Kauf-Option hab ich 28.500 Euro, von denen ich auch vorhabe, sie weiter im Anschluss zu finanzieren. Vielleicht findest du ja mal ein ähnliches Angebot, aber es muss auch kein AMG oder 500er sein, der S400d mit 340 PS und 700 Nm ist auch superschnell unterwegs, wirklich, der ist fast so schnell wie der 500er.
Natürlich muss man sehen, wo das Geld dafür herkommt. Ich persönlich halte ziemlich viele Dividenden-Aktien, die immerhin 8% pro Jahr ausschütten (Volkswagen, Mercedes, BMW, BASF, RTL usw.). Du solltest auf jeden Fall zusehen, dass du deinen Freibetrag von 1.000 Euro auf Kapitaleinnahmen jährlich ausschöpfst, dafür brauchst du ca. 12.000 Euro und 8%, das sind schon 960 Euro netto jährlich für nix gemacht. Es hört sich nicht nach viel an, aber du wirst feststellen, dass du mit diesen 1.000 Euro alle möglichen Dinge deines Haushalts wirst lebenslänglich ersetzen können, das heißt, Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Fernseher, Fahrrad, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Herd, Trockner etc. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass all diese Gegenstände nicht gleichzeitig kaputtgehen, sodass du hier lebenslänglich nie wieder Geld ausgibst - solange du den Freibetrag jedes Jahr ausschöpfst. Dein Geld arbeitet also für dich.
Ich bin mittlerweile weit darüber und meine Dividenden zahlen mir meine Miete. Aber stell dir vor, du würdest so viele Dividenden jedes Jahr einnehmen, dass du 6 von 12 Monate mietfrei lebst, dann wäre das ein Anfang.
Und wenn du erst mal mietfrei lebst, dann hast du auch das Geld, um die monatliche Rate für eine S-Klasse abzudrücken. Such dir eine gebrauchte S-Klasse für 50.000 Euro, hau meinetwegen 5.000 Euro Anzahlung in den Topf und dann hast du eine monatliche Rate von 600 Euro. Nach 4 Jahren Vertragslaufzeit steht dann die Entscheidung, ob du den Wagen für ca. 30.000 Euro übernehmen willst - aber vielleicht willst du das gar nicht, sondern suchst dir das Nachfolgemodell der S-Klasse, packst also wieder 5.000 Euro Anzahlung auf den Tisch und drückst wieder monatlich 400 Euro Rate ab. Bei 4 Jahren Vertragslaufzeit hast du 2 Jahre Händlergarantie kostenlos, das heißt, du musst nur für die anderen 2 Jahre Garantieverlängerung abschließen.
Als Bauarbeiter solltest du aber vielleicht eine Firma gründen. Biete doch die Leistungen selbst an, für die du malochen gehst - aber lass andere den Job machen. Konzentrier dich auf dein Unternehmen, bau eine Website, ziehe Jobs an Land und sorge für volle Auftragsbücher. Vielleicht machst du dann 20.000 Euro im Monat und hast gut lachen.
Sorge aber mindestens dafür, dass du die 1.000 Euro netto aus Kapitaleinnahmen jährlich mitnimmst, das wird dich schon merklich boosten. Oder hast du Lust, lebenslänglich für alles, was bei dir kaputtgeht, selbst zu bezahlen oder dafür Arbeits- und Lebenszeit aufzuwenden?
Und wenn da mit der S-Klasse nicht geht, dann stapele tiefer. Hol dir einen E400d. Selber Motor, 6 Liter Verbrauch.🙂 Den E400 gibt's für ca. 40.000 Euro. Und achte darauf, dass du entweder bei Mercedes kaufst oder bei zertifizierten Mercedes-Partnern, also wo explizit "Junge Sterne" draufsteht. Bei einem Wagen von 40.000 Euro wird die Kauf-Option bei ca. 20.000 Euro liegen, der Wagen wird dich also ca. 20.000 Euro auf 4 Jahre kosten.
So, ich hoffe, ich habe dich deinem Traum ein bisschen nähergebracht.
P.S.: Mein Cousin hat für 300 Euro im Monat geraucht, meine Ex für 200 Euro. Was an Alkohol noch so nebenbei wegging, kann ich nicht sagen. Aber falls du Betroffener bist, rechne doch mal durch, ob Rauchen und Saufen dich 300 oder mehr Euro im Monat kostet - und dann frag dich mal: Rauchen oder Mercedes fahren? ..... 😉 Und jedes Mal, wenn du eine neue Zigarette anzünden willst, fragst du dich das: "Rauchen oder Mercedes fahren?" .... Lass das dein neues Mantra werden.
Mercedes hat brutalen Wertverlust, warte noch ein paar Jahre dann kriegst du den hinterhergeschmissen

I own a 2019 S560. I have not gotten S580 because of that super screen. It's horrible to look at. I want a Mercedes, not a Tesla. This newer smaller look is awesome tough. Not being an ass hat just certain looks most Mercedes owners like. Great video.

The only thing that spoil this beautiful black Mercedes is the Mercedes' large symbol stuck on the middle of the radiator it looks absolutely ghastly. Why don't Mercedes put its symbol a much smaller round version on the middle of the front of the bonnet adjacent to the radiator? It would be much more elegant and stylish. Please Mercedes take my advice next time round.
