Callum, I'm pleasantly suprised you would consider moving to Pakistan. As a British Pakistani whose spent almost my like in the U.K., I love visiting Pakistan, and hope to move there on day Insha'Allah.
I forgot to mention thank you for mentioning Mirpur, beautiful place with friendly people, not enough tourists visit Mirpur and therefore it doesn't get enough exposure. Especially since a sizeable of British Pakistanis are from there.

Everyone in Pakistan wants to feed you. I believe it's more to do with the fact that Indians receive a lot more European, American, Canadian, new zelanders, Aussie tourists as compared to Pakistan so Indians have sort of become used to it. So Pakistanis get more excited on seeing Caucasian tourists

I would love to visit Pakistan some day but as an American i have apprehensions. As i have read that 3out of 4 Pakistanis were happy that 9/11 happened. But im sure that is fake news given to us by western media. I would like to think that people would not be “happy” that over 2,000 innocent Americans were killed. As an American i will say that most people here do not approve of what their government does. And our government does not represent the average citizen. As always Callum, much love from Maine,USA!
