I swear Britney, you have the perfect job. You can justify buying everything you want because of your channel. When I watch the you tubers I think I should shop and decorate like them it raises the bar. The only problem is that I don’t host parties or have ppl over very often. My husband says I don’t know why you do all that. No one sees it but us. He just doesn’t understand the joy it brings me, even if no one else knows. I’m glad the you tubers do it because otherwise I would feel bad about doing it. We’re in this together. It’s a part of being a lady. I tell the hubs he is lucky that I love our home and take pride in it. It looks good on him. He doesn’t buy it though. I don’t spend money I don’t have but I am a little obsessed but don’t tell anyone.

I enjoyed this today! I've sworn off buying decor because I'm going to move in the future. Moving has been put off for awhile but hopefully not for long. I'm doing Shiny Brite trees because I have so many of those ornaments. I don't think I'll have a theme...just an eclectic 1950' s vintage vibe. Shiny Brite started in 1950 so that's it for me. My house will hopefully look like the 50's when I'm through. I grew up during that era so it's precious to me. I really enjoyed your shopping trip and I loved seeing everything! Home Goods always seems to be packed at any time of the year with people. I actually still enjoy going to Marshall's because it's not quite as crowded. Thank you for sharing your trip with us!

I just bought a wreath that is flocked with red balls and a red bow and that is my inspiration for my theme this year. I wanted a theme and colors that would lift my spirits and make me happy when I look at the decor.

We had a 5000 sq. Ft home and a business, so I decorated every room and bathroom, etc. as we had several parties during the holidays. We’re now retired and have moved so Ive had to learn I don’t have to put everything up and just rotate things every year,lol. I do miss it but enjoy decorating for just myself.

Yes … been hard at it … little at a time! Dug into my Possible Dreams Santa’s … got the boxes out … son and daughter in law coming over to put my tree up … so it will be ready to start decorating! Been ordering a few new pieces … decided to empty my hutch and put some Santa’s with sweet treats they are holding and use some of my Rae Dunn pieces I have collected over the years! Red is my favorite color! Lol I will be waiting for your future Vlogs … you’re my favorite … I love the decorating skills you have! You never cease to amaze me! It’s very hard to find decorations that share the true meaning of Christmas. I’m glad I have many lovely pieces to decorate our house. Jesus is the reason for this season!
I’m going to Kirklands either tomorrow or Tuesday! We finally got one close to me! I had already decorated last year for Christmas when it opened -and promised myself no more decorations last year 😅- but this year is fair game! I got some gingerbread/baking decorations from Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago!! I’m so excited to decorate this year! 😍
I fell in love with the red & white sweater…so I went to Amazon & ordered one! I just got it today! Can’t wait for it to cool off enough to wear it! It’s a heatwave in the Northeast!

I have to admit… I definitely had some blowups at one time when I was younger. I’m in my early 40s now and I gawk at the site of them! The thing I hated the most about the blowups is, they all deflate during the day. So during the day, you have a big piece of material laying in your yard😂

This year I’m trying to something different in my decor , acrylic deer, Christmas trees, nutcrackers etc anything acrylic , snowflakes,stars polar bears,moose everywhere is deer but I love moose tall beautiful moose wood my Christmas tree ornaments colors and forest green deep maroon and clear glass ornaments in different shapes icicles too and gold and of course the nativity that I found at Costco yers ago with a giant camel it’s a big set .can’t wait to see your ideas for Christmas this year and I know it’s going to be beautiful like always thanks for sharing ❤

Oh yeah…Christmas shopping! I’ve picked quite a few things myself. I do not care for the inflatables although I do have a couple lighted metal reindeer and presents I like to use. Nothing better than Christmas drives to see decor though!
I just visited my local Hobby Lobby this past Saturday for some additional fall decor to add to what I already had and saw all the Christmas stuff out. I know I am totally in the minority, but I don't like seeing Christmas quite this early. I love to enjoy the fall for a while before Christmas.

I was just at Hobby Lobby Saturday but I was there for a couple of things I need for hosting Thanksgiving. I actually didn’t go around to look at the Christmas yet but I also don’t need anything so like you I might add a little bit here or there. I love kirklands but we don’t have one near me which is so surprising since we have everything else. I did really like some of there items a lot . I rather spend more on gifts and food than Decor since I have a lot of things . I decorate more for winter so I get more bang for the buck. It does get tempting when you go in these stores and see some really special items that tug at your heart but times are tuff so I shop with intension now . Last year I took a fake plain evergreen wreath that I already had and went out and pick all kinds of beautiful mixed greens and berries and stuck them in the fake wreath . It was so full and gorgeous and everyone thought I spent a lot of money on this real wreath . What satisfaction! I also made two big arrangements with the same greens and berries and sticks and pine cones for my front entrance and filled window boxes . I not only saved a lot of money but I was able to make them the way I wanted too. The wreath and all the arrangement made it till spring. I can’t wait to get started on them again this year. My theme this year is going to be O'Holy Night with some natural elements. I want it to be simple but impactful. I also want a bit of dark and moody in there. I’m going to Kirklands either tomorrow or Tuesday! We finally got one close to me! I had already decorated last year for Christmas when it opened -and promised myself no more decorations last year 😅- but this year is fair game! I got some gingerbread/baking decorations from Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago!! I’m so excited to decorate this year! 😍

I have to admit… I definitely had some blowups at one time when I was younger. I’m in my early 40s now and I gawk at the site of them! The thing I hated the most about the blowups is, they all deflate during the day. So during the day, you have a big piece of material laying in your yard😂
I totally agree.. half the time they are laying in people’s yard like trash when not inflated.. people are like sheep 😢 just don’t get the appeal

Yay!!!! Am getting excited to see what you have up your sleeve this year. I wouldn’t get that big blowup. But we do have the smaller one and we put them up because my 17 year loves them and so does my 94 old mom. So we sit outside in the evening just talking and it makes it cosy. And like you said it put a smile on my face cause they are happy.
God thing we don’t live close by I would be that friend who tells you. Get it you can always return it 😂😂😂

This year I’m trying to something different in my decor , acrylic deer, Christmas trees, nutcrackers etc anything acrylic , snowflakes,stars polar bears,moose everywhere is deer but I love moose tall beautiful moose wood my Christmas tree ornaments colors and forest green deep maroon and clear glass ornaments in different shapes icicles too and gold and of course the nativity that I found at Costco yers ago with a giant camel it’s a big set .can’t wait to see your ideas for Christmas this year and I know it’s going to be beautiful like always thanks for sharing ❤

Oh yeah…Christmas shopping! I’ve picked quite a few things myself. I do not care for the inflatables although I do have a couple lighted metal reindeer and presents I like to use. Nothing better than Christmas drives to see decor though!

I just visited my local Hobby Lobby this past Saturday for some additional fall decor to add to what I already had and saw all the Christmas stuff out. I know I am totally in the minority, but I don't like seeing Christmas quite this early. I love to enjoy the fall for a while before Christmas.
I totally hear you! I like to enjoy each season as it comes, and wish they would wait a bit longer to fill the stores for the holidays, but I did get excited this year to see all the Christmas decor out! 😊

I was just at Hobby Lobby Saturday but I was there for a couple of things I need for hosting Thanksgiving. I actually didn’t go around to look at the Christmas yet but I also don’t need anything so like you I might add a little bit here or there. I love kirklands but we don’t have one near me which is so surprising since we have everything else. I did really like some of there items a lot . I rather spend more on gifts and food than Decor since I have a lot of things . I decorate more for winter so I get more bang for the buck. It does get tempting when you go in these stores and see some really special items that tug at your heart but times are tuff so I shop with intension now . Last year I took a fake plain evergreen wreath that I already had and went out and pick all kinds of beautiful mixed greens and berries and stuck them in the fake wreath . It was so full and gorgeous and everyone thought I spent a lot of money on this real wreath . What satisfaction! I also made two big arrangements with the same greens and berries and sticks and pine cones for my front entrance and filled window boxes . I not only saved a lot of money but I was able to make them the way I wanted too. The wreath and all the arrangement made it till spring. I can’t wait to get started on them again this year. I usually make them the week before Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to see what you come up with this year. Have a beautiful blessed day 🙏🕊💕🌻🍁🌾🍄🍂

I liked Kirklands the best. All the other stores were the same ole, same ole, but Kirklands had some beautiful things!
I thought Kirklands had some eye catching things this year as well. The person that worked there told me they have even more Christmas wall are coming this year. I love their beautiful wall prints.

My theme this year is going to be O'Holy Night with some natural elements. I want it to be simple but impactful. I also want a bit of dark and moody in there. There is a wall art piece at Hobby Lobby that I had to buy because it felt like everything I wanted for this Christmas. You have it in this video at 13:19. I have a nutcracker problem too and "NO" I do not like or do inflatables,either inside or out of the home.I love Christmas and find it hard not to buy too much each year.I'm a traditionalist.....red,green,gold.
