i have read all these and have got splendid results for myself. also i am suggesting these since last ten years to my clients so sanskrit mantras and stotras have changed many lives in front of my eyes. great. keep a glass of water in front of you while reciting and keep your right hand on top of it. after finishing recital you can sprinkle some of that water on your head and body and remaining you can drinking it. so by doing this you will create abhimantrit water and you ingest the power of stotram. as per the stotra phala shruti it removes doshas of all 9 planets.
Ideally it is said that four days should be avoided. If it continues after that you can read. Also you can take head bath and read it in four days also.

Reading sahasranama gives you an added advantage. It doesn't mean that you don't have to use your brain or not work. Most importantly the king is supposed to follow much bigger rituals. But most Indian kings were busy fighting with family, women and petty issues. Lalita sahasranama is more popular in South India. Surprisingly they had the least damage due to colonial powers.

Agar aisa hota na ki sirf sahastranaam paath karne se sab hota to desh kabhi mughal aur angrez ka gulam nahi hota.
