Truth. I think that as blacks we're disconnected from each other really. We seek love in all the wrong places bc many of us turn to parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents, godparents, friends, neighbors, affiliates from church, work etc only to feel alone. Many blacks feel alone and this is why many of us join cults, whether its a sorority, Scientology, gangs. We all long to belong in all the wrong places in most cases. Not justifying, just shedding light that its imperative that we take care of our children or the world will captivate their minds and once they have access to that, nothing else matters bc they understand and have mastered deep manipuation of conditioning the mind and mislead.
If Mothers held their daughters and listened to them when they spoke or fathers, stayed home from time to time, raised their sons, and observed, they'll learn that their child is just seeking unconditional love and to feel like they have guidance and protection. Most of our kids in the community do not have the protection. Far too many abuses occur with our kids due to neglect and that is a huge epidemic. Raising kids doesn't end at 18 years old. As long as youre a parent, you have obligations and should always be learning so you can instill knowledge and wisdom into your children regardless of age. We are always students who should be open to absorbing and expanding.
We are just so disconnected and not as codified or close to one another which is why young ladies like this and so many young boys grow up hopeless, lost and desperate. Anyhow. We've got a long long long way to go, yet, all that we do is exploit and hurt one another, record and broadcast it for the world to watch.

I understand that all may not be aware of the complete journey that was documented online. You can be both a victim and an abuser. There are no perfect victims. You can feel empathy for the victim in her and condemn the abuser. When the 4 year old kept trying to get her attention, he basically shooed her away, and told her to be quiet, they talk to their mother all day! The 1 year old was trying to get to Velvet to be held and he yelled at the baby and stopped her and said you can't just step on people. Velvet was sitting up and the baby wanted to sit on her lap. The baby's feelings were so hurt and you could hear it in her cry. He remembered that he was on live and tried to play it off. I felt so bad for the kids, because Velvet was sitting there eating it up. He learned from nature boy and is doing the same thing.
