Birthday Surprise for Officer Zeke

Zeke is a big fan of the Sterling Heights Police Department in Michigan. He loved attending their community events and would even drop into the department to say hi to the officers. When Zeke invited an officer to his birthday, the whole department decided to do something kind in return to show their appreciation for this future police officer. They raised enough money to buy a fully outfitted electric toy patrol car and full-fledged uniform for Zeke and surprised him at his birthday party. It is heartfelt moments like these that can have the most positive impact on a young boy’s life.

That is the kind of thing that improves a child view on law enforcement officers. Officers will always find time in their day and in their hearts to give a young person a positive interaction police and fire. Special things like going to birthday parties for little ones leaving a lasting impression. That police department did a great thing for a little boy.
