(Bc remember, the first time Karl ever witnessed the Other Side, the Pit episode had just happened where he met Ran and Ran said that they would meet again. This makes me think that Boo runs the In-Between and Ran controls the Other Side) Tubbo worries a bit more each time this happens, but at least Ranboo finds where Karl went when he leaves. Ranboo and Karl will usually hang out for a bit afterward and Ranboo will sometimes split, leaving Ran to apologize to Karl if Boo did something stupid again. Boo has made alliances with Dream as a means to getting Ran to finally understand why he keeps doing this sort of stuff. This is why there are so many smiley faces in the In-Between. The only person other than Karl (and Slime, but that's kinda obvious) who knows about Ran and Boo is Sapnap. He stumbled upon Ran and Boo having a fight in the woods and just sorta stood there like "Hey bitch-" and they formed. As much as Boo hates to hurt Ran, his alliance with Dream includes Dream being able to control Ran and Ranboo, aka Ranboo's enderwalking. In return, Boo gets a strategist and combat teacher. Boo and Ran are VERY good actors. Boo has a shit memory as a drawback from running the In-Between, but Ran remembers everything and knows everything, which makes him both traumatized and the biggest target in the fucking universe. Karl and Boo have a hard time interacting, as Karl strayed from the path and Boo tried killing him, but they manage to get along enough that Ran doesn't really worry about it. Quackity has been talking to Boo, but he doesn't know about Ran or enough about Ranboo to put it together. (Lol funny joke) Every time Karl sees Ranboo while traveling, it's either Ran, Ranboo, or (rarely) Boo. They tend to follow him to make sure he stays alive, Ran because he views Karl as his closest friend, and Boo because "You need to keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. If he dies... you know what'll happen. Ensure he doesn't stray from the path, don't stray from the path, DON'T STRAYDONTSTRAY-" For plot reasons, Ran knows about Boo's deal with Dream, but he can't do anything no matter where he travels or what he does, so he's just given up on it at this point. They're gods??? Michael also knows I decided because Michael and Ran bonding time pog? Out of the twins, Michael favors Boo, but Boo fucking hates him. So if they split (which isn't often,) Michael spends all of his time with Ran. (Michael definitely prefers Ranboo to both of them tho. It's his Baba, after all.)
