    Yes Jackie I just got two of them white 28" same as yours, one for my bedroom and one for my office and I think all get one more for my living room , I just LOVE the fan . Oh the install was simple no blades to screw in 45 minutes and its done, two people recommend on install.

      So glad to hear it Richard! I have actually been thinking to put one in my bedroom also. I’m sure having 2 is twice as nice! I’ve pinned your comment in case others also want to ask more about your experience. Catch me on TH-cam live tonight on the Mark Tobin Kitchen Design channel at 7pm eastern. I’m sure we’ll talk quite a bit about this fan!

    Wow! What an amazing review. You're a natural. This is exactly the type of review that I want to see with products So detailed and also after you've used it for a while so you can give a real-life review. And great production. This fan/light looks awesome! And so do you.

      Hey! Take the plunge! It’s a beauty! I had my pest control guy come through today, and instead of talking insecticide, we ended up doing a fan demo! It’s a real conversation piece! Thanks about my glasses! The glare can be a real bother trying to film videos but I’m all about the fashion statement!

      Thanks Kelly! People love it. I was over a friend’s house last night and she said they’re taking down their fan in the living room. It’s slightly dated. She’s considering buying this one. Definitely a stellar choice

    Awesome! What a detailed review. Lumio should give you a cut, because of your excellant review, I ordered this fan and I am looking forward to receiving and installing it. When it is installed, I will revisit this video to familize myself with all of it's features. Plus, I love your outtakes.😂

    I like them so much I'm replacing another Bladed Fan in my living room; the other two fans were nearly 20 years old and weren't working well. Hence, it was time to replace them; I did a lot of research on the bladeless fans and believe the Lumio fan is at the top for Bladeless fans. I don't mind the price because I believe it to be a High-Quality Innovative Fan that stands at the top of the line for Bladeless Fans. Also, the light settings is one that was very important to me to get one with LED Lights, which I could not find in any big box stores.

    Loved it Jackie! Great video and the blooper reel reminded me of every one of my videos. lol. 45 mins of stammering for an 8 minute video.

      Yay, Mark. Thanks for watching! My friend Donna dropped by for a gift exchange and we began a casual conversation about the fan. That turned into a demonstration and the next thing you know, she'd ordered the fan shipped to her home by that evening! It's a marvelous little conversation piece for sure. If you purchase one, you'll fall in love!
      Did you notice my mops and brooms hanging out in the corner? I really have to find a convenient spot for those! I've got a couple of ideas brewing.

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for a great question. So far I've only been using a fluffy duster and it's doing the trick. Plan to get up there and really examine closely and clean with Krud Kutter, etc this summer. It'll give me a chance to evaluate whether it's getting any grease build up or anything. But so far, it still looks very nice. Nothing getting stuck in the crevices.

      Thanks for a great question. You can find it on Amazon and I linked to it in the video description. Or you can go on Todaysfans.com to order. Amazon offers free shipping and returns in the US at least. So that’s why I’d consider Amazon the better deal. I hope you’re able to get one. Good luck and thanks for watching!

    Why is no one talking about white noise with these bladeless fans? I can't find any input on this topic anywhere. My wife requires white noise in our bedroom to sleep at night. With one of the major selling points for bladeless fans being how quiet they are, are we better using a traditional ceiling fan if we need that background white noise? Thanks.

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. The fan does not make a lot of noise so if a primary consideration this may not be the fan for you. Good luck in your search.

    Jackie Will it move enough air for those of us who live in very hot dry areas like the Sacramento Valley? Like the looks of the remote! Will the fan/light also run by app on smartphones? Thanks!

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching! This fan moves air extremely well. Even though the product is pricey, I think you will be very pleased with the purchase. My friend saw it in my home at Christmas time and purchased her own the very next day. It’s installed now, and she’s extremely happy with it. It’s a winner!
      Be sure to check out my unboxing video where I take a look at everything packed inside the box. Don’t know much about California heat. I am from Texas originally and I would say this fan could handle a hot humid summer based on my experience. There wasn’t an option for smartphone apps unfortunately, but that would be super awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video.

    I saw in your video that you mentioned you returned the wood grain option. I'm thinking of getting that one and wonder why you returned it and got the white instead. Did you think the wood grain looked to fake with the plastic?

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for a great question. The wood grain option looked great. Didn’t look too plasticky at all. I just decided to do something different with the ceiling and the white color works better into the overall design. But if you order by Amazon, returns are free so you can always check the color for yourself and return if necessary. I’ve got an affiliate link in the description for both of our convenience! lol. Thank you so much for watching.

    • @JackieofAllTrades

  • @rondamcdowell9228

    is it easier to clean than a regular blade ceiling fan/light? is yours plastic or other?

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ronda. Thanks for watching! I wouldn’t say it’s easier to clean. It does well with a regular feather duster. It’s plastic. Even the wood grain option is plastic. Check out my unboxing video for a closer look at the component parts. Thanks for reaching out and thank you for a great question.

  • @ashleycahoon5556
    @ashleycahoon5556 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for the review. Super helpful. You said you returned the wood grain. Did it look cheap and plasticky or did you just prefer the white?

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Ashley! No I didn’t return it for looking cheap. Quite the opposite. It was beautiful. I decided to do a project with mill work panels on my dining area ceiling. Thought the white would look better for that project. But having seen both, you can’t go wrong with either option. Still looking great and running well in my space 9 months since installing. I highly recommend it. You can find it linked below in my description- my affiliate link to their Amazon storefront. With Prime Days happening shortly you can hopefully score it at a deep discount with free shipping and free returns (which I didn’t get when I bought mine). Good luck! Thanks for watching.

    Hi Jackie, great review. Thanks for the sharing. Two questions - is cleaning the fan difficult and which country is it made from. Thanks.

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for watching. I felt the review was necessary because there’s not a lot out about this fan yet so I took the expensive plunge on a hope and a prayer. But I hope to help others land at the appropriate decision for themselves. So far a basic duster works to clean it but I haven’t worked hard to get into the nooks and crannies. I am hoping my ventilation system upgrades will work to keep the grease build up off of it which plagued my old fan. I’m pretty sure it’s manufactured in PRC… so yeah, it’s made in China.

    Is it easy to dust like a normal bladed fan? I can’t tell if it’s easy to wipe down. Completely, off topic, you have beautiful teeth.

    • @JackieofAllTrades
      @JackieofAllTrades  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ha! Thanks! I haven’t had to dust it very much. It’s not collecting a lot of dust and dirt which surprises me. But I wipe it down occasionally using krud cutter and a damp rag and it is good. I’m thinking my upgrade to an exhaust fan that vents outside has been a great help. My old fan was sticky with gunk and dust. But that’s not the case with this one.
