The sauce is literally only popular because of Rick and Morty. 90% of people wanting the sauce probably didn't even know about the sauce until that episode.
I live down the block from *THAT* McDonald's [off of La Brea and San Vicente] and the line was nearly 2 blocks down [huge blocks btw], and people had been waiting since the previous afternoon. At one point, one kid took one too many packets and all hell broke loose. The kid ended up having to hide for his life as people started shouting death threats at him and soon after someone jumped over the counter and took the remaining sauce. . . . _yyyyeeeaaaahhhh_ . . . *insert a deep sigh* cops were dispatched and everyone had to leave the premises...

It was a warm summer day and I felt bad for all the parents who bought their kids and even worse for the workers who clocked in that day not expecting that to happen. I was recording a video and breaking the news of the staff only having 10 sauces dips. My friends who waited in line were customer 11 and 12 lol.
