Hi, in my experience having a vivaro, it's a great van to convert. The insulation is perfect for both sound and temperature. Obviously the windows make up a large percentage of any vehicle and will need to be adequately insulated for temperature control at night. I have seen a company doing double glazed glass for vans, but I imagine the weight of these is restrictive. It's a very valid point about ventilation in such a well insulated van. Hi, what about toilet usage?
Hi Gary, I have a cassette toilet. When 'wild camping' it fits between the bed and side door at night. When pitched with the awning up, It goes nicely in the tunnel between the van and the awning, which is private. I also could use the shower tent, but I never have...too far to walk in the middle of the night 😁
Where did you gets seats upholstered?
Hi Chris, I had them done in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Let me know if you want the number.
@@projectmidlifecrisis yes please mate, what’s their pricing like? Thanks very much

Did you move into new van
Hi, I moved in to Big Yellow just before Christmas. It's not totally finished but good enough. Now I have time to knock out some more videos. I hope you'll come along.
Definitely. Saw your Vivaro and then my wife went and bought one. There you go she says. Want it like the one in the video. Thanks for that lol.
That's brilliant Paul 😁 My Vivaro is now up for sale. Spread the word 😉
Mate. I’ve got a cottage she wants renovating now a van. Nightmare. How much yours up for ?
@@paulnewman3406 I'm looking for £14k to include new mot (done tomorrow) and inflatable drive away awning. It's been a real beauty but I need my motorbike with me.
Sounds like you've got your hands full. It'll be worth it 🙂
what is vauxhall like?
Hi Usman, it's a great van to make a campervan. Good on fuel, low maintenance costs, reliable and cheap on parts of you need them. Also, it's now a popular van to convert so there's lots of companies making campervan furniture etc for them.
@@projectmidlifecrisis Many thanks.. Loved your conversion. I am interested to take up a similar
project but got zero skills.
