Nature Based Solutions

This micromodule highlights the importance of nature-based solutions (NBS) and IRRI's efforts in developing NBS frameworks and strategies. Conventional monocropping degrades land, causes water scarcity, biodiversity loss, and GHG emissions, but adopting NBS in agriculture can address these issues by protecting, restoring, and sustainably managing ecosystems.
