  • The Tenba Axis Backpacks are well-designed and good-looking camera backpacks. There are 3 sizes, Tenba Axis 20L, Tenba Axis 24L, Tenba Axis 32L. This review video explores the Tenba 32L Axis backpack.

    very helpful review. Thanks :)
That Tamron 24-70 looks like 70-200 to me :)

Thanks for watching! And you're absolutely right! I said the wrong thing... it is a 70-200mm. Thank you for correcting the record! I wish I could fix it...

Hi Kendrick, just found your review. Very comprehensive, thank you. I was wondering, don't know if you remeber the exactly lay out, but can the top access be used for access to the main bag, so you can use it as a top loader for a body+70-200, for example, like a Lowepro Protactic? Keep up the great work.

Yeah you can arrange the dividers so you can access a camera with a long lens from the top. That’s how a lot of people are using this bag.

I was so confused for a moment then I realised that the model I’ve been looking at is the V2. It seems they’ve fixed a lot of stuff compared to this model. Like a laptop pouch with a water resistant zipper just behind the outer accessories instead of in the camera compartment. And a mesh pocket on the door of the outer accessories room.
I’m planning on buying it, so I don’t have it yet. But it seems they’ve improved it a lot. A separate laptop pouch is a big thing imo

Yeah V2 is pretty new. Not exactly sure when it was released but it was pretty recent. I haven’t taken a close look yet but I’m glad to hear about lots of improvements! Thanks for watching!

If you had been wearing the belt on your backpacks, your back would be in better shape today. The belts are designed to take the weight of the packs off your shoulders/back.

An excellent review, Kendrick! I'm considering the LowePro ProTactic BP 450 AW ll backpack, which is probably a bit smaller than this Tenba Axis 32L. I know that the LowePro uses a similar Molle System on the exterior. Have you any experience with the LowePro ProTactic line, and if so, how would you compare the build quality and comfort level of these two companies? Thank you.

I don’t have much experience with that one, but after I got your comment I reached out to a buddy that has one, and we met up so I could give it a look over and a quick walk around. Basically the lowepro protactic is a great bag but on the smaller side. My friend carried it a ton and the only wear and tear was the moly loops were fraying a bit, nothing a pair of nail clippers couldn’t solve. The bag itself was pretty comfortable to wear in a shot walk. I think both bags are on a similar comfort level ranking and durability probably pretty close also. I think it would be ok to let the organization layout be your deciding factor. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

@@KendrickDischCreative Thank you, Kendrick, for your additional information! I am also considering one more 25L bag, the PGKTECH OneMo 25L V2, as it’s only $200, for the same capacity. I’ll take your comments into consideration as well.

This bag will swallow 14-24 f2.8 24-70 f2.8 AND 70-200 f2.8 , carry a wasp camo poncho and a telescopic stool , its a beast of a bag ! Im used to the back zipper , i use the lowepro protactic, so dont wear the mud on my clothes just the pack , i bought this to take a gripped d850 and bigger than usual lens , im adapting it to fit my 200-400 f4 according to the dimentions it will go in attached to the body of a gripped d850 the bag has proved itself holding several pro fast lenses , but the 400 is 7lb of glass and metal,

hey man thank you so much for the review. its very helpfull. i have a small request. i have been planning to upgrade my bag and i really like this look and option of this bag. im 5.4 so i feel like 24l might be little bit large size for me. i want to get the 20l but im not sure if my 16" mpb would be fit in the 20l. is there anyway you can help me with.
    thank you.

Thanks for watching! Unfortunately, I don't have a 16" mbp or the smaller versions of this pack. SO I don't think there's anything I can do to help. Also, the've released slightly updated versions since I made this video. I'd go direct to Tenba customer service and talk to them. Good luck with your hunt!

I don’t have those lenses to test with nor this bag anymore. Hopefully someone else can chime in!

I'd love to get my hands on it. I don't think I can justify buying one and I haven't asked them to send me one either... so for now I just am testing other bags!

I have a weird shaped body and bags don't fit on me the same they fit on others. I just don't see that as being super helpful overall. But I appreciate the feedback anyway! Cheers!
