I actually found you after seeing a Brewers and Pirates locked on podcast! New subscriber! Love these two moves but when are they going to get Bellinger?
You’re right on with Fried. It was likely the Yankees were going to sign Fried even if they won the Soto auction. They had to do quite a bit even if they had Soto coming back. They knew strengthening the defense and filling holes whether Soto was coming or going had to be done.
David Samson, former GM had an episode where he explained how the security and suite issue were non-issues in negotiations during free agency. I don’t know that Soto complained about any of the issues brought up aside from $.
Would love to see Tanner Scott picked up now. Resign Kahnle and Tim Hill. Clayton Beeter probably makes the team outta spring training. Then u have Weaver and Cousins,Williams. I'd take that pen
Mike Trout would absolutely get a fair well tour if he retired. I’ve never met or heard a single baseball fan that doesn’t like Trout. His injuries would just make it a sad “what if” fair well 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I think all we are going to see now are a couple surprise trades and then the usual dumpster diving to stock up on pitchers. So NYY either solve stuff in-house or it won't happen. A lot of clubs would take Cortes. Makes a lot of starts, throws a lot of innings, and keeps the ERA under 4. Pitchers like that are thin on the ground. If they trade away Stroman, too, with Cortes and Stroman gone, they would be giving up well over 300 IP. That's a potential problem when you consider that Cole, Rodon and Fried are your guys.
A terrible take from Brian - I guarantee Weaver isn't closing to begin the season - GUARANTEED (I haven't read all the comments but I'm sure this has been stated multiple times) 💯💯💯💰
why doesn't oswaldo cabrera get any love/consideration for the starting line-up? Solid, great clubhouse guy, rarely has bad at bats, above average fielder
James Dolan got denied access to Madison square garden and he OWNS THE PLACE. Juan Soto is a diva maybe one of his teammates would have reached out if he didn’t change his number.
fan mail friday question- so with judge being in his 30's how soon do you think the yanks should transition him to 1st base than eventually full time dh..considering his foot injury and his size a foot injury can become a nagging one. my opinion I think he should be starting now off season/spring training he should be working on being a first baseman and definitely should start some games at 1st during spring training...your guys thoughts ?

There’s no way Weaver is the closer with Williams now a NYY. Weaver will pitch the 7th or 8th in games
where he should be, that’s going to be his pocket and he’ll easily be able to give us 5 or 6 outs a game.

@@bootman716 They need to get the offense straight now. The BP will be their strong suit.
@vrj40 I agree I'm just dreaming a min here. Glad Tucker went so we keep Gil. I'd love Arraez, Walker, and Santander.
@@bootman716Arreaz at 1b , Cody in LF Jaz at 3b…and Billy Martin at 2b
Scott Boras was always going with the highest bidder.
The bullpen is shaping up. Weaver is more suited to being a high leverage multi-inning reliever
I think set-up is likely.
5:55 "I don't think they even know yet" Haha... c'mon. Great analysis.

1 yr rental on a closer who implodes in big spots? Hal Crashman and Boonedogle…need to go away
He was tipping his pitching. Pretty sure the Yankees can correct that. He’s phenomenal
@@Platerpus7 Some pitchers are just more readable because of what they throw. I'm afraid that might explain this guy.
The guy has a CAREER 1.83 era what a terrible take this is
Agreed
Tucker went to the Cubs.

Bellinger? Hoerner? Need to fill 2nd, 1st and LF.
What do you think about trading Oswaldo Cabrera? Include him and Ben Rice in a trade with the Rays for Yandy Diaz
Cortez will be the closer and thrive in the role in my opinion

Juan soda 🥤😂 good metaphor Brian!
Bring back Gleyber
Blue sky? wtf

The offense is going to be hot garbage!
Probably more like cold garbage.

Juan also said that New York has always been a Mets town.
