Hi, Melissa! How exciting. How is the transition going? There are a great many farmers on our little rock and you can meet several of our faves at South Gate farmers market on Saturday’s. We grow our own or help out on the farm and it’s been really rewarding. Hiking would be fun.
Angela Kim I would love to help out at a farm when I’m there. I follow art farm and ridge to reef. We are coming for a month to explore more about the move there. Chris and I are ready but our girls not so much! Hoping it’ll be a fun summer for them. Any suggestions for teenagers? I have a few we may do. Also Chris says he can talk “HVAC” with Jay on a hike 😂. He remembers from when they met.
I don’t have as much info on itineraries for kids but maybe look into volunteer opportunities with the cowgirls or animal shelter (they’re always in desperate need), the yacht club for sailing lessons, getting together with the homeschool community (I want to say it’s called tamarind parents??) and h
Hi, John! Things are as well as can be expected. I hope all is well where you are! I’ve had several folks write me about their plans in the coming months but personally, I’m putting off travel myself- at least for a bit. I’ve spoken with several people that have come in recently for work and they are happy to be here. I use Airbnb when I travel but Sandcastles out west has a great view and right on the water, Carambola was my fave (under construction since Maria), Buccaneer is a popular one out East and Caravelle if you’re looking for something right on the boardwalk.

My brothers are in LA and they say it’s like a war zone. I can only imagine. I’m sending you all the good vibes, John. I hope we’re bearing witness to profound changes.
My husband dives through CORE which is a reef sustainable group spearing lion fish but technically, they go out from the dive shop. You can ask my husband directly on ig @island_j he definitely knows more about this.
