I live on 26st i fish that water every day but its hard fishing out there if u dont have a boat lol good tarpon fishing out there permits Pompano Snook speckled trout and Spanish mackerel be passing out there but with that damn red tide been kind of slow
Sure seemed to be a fun fishery! Are there many redfish in Biscayne Bay? I was told that they weren't very common so I was very surprised to see the one that hit the jerk shad.
Matheson hammock is a good spot to drop. Though you should have dropped a little further south so you could fish a bit better zone this is my home turf your welcome for the information try Chapman field kayak ramp next time. Don't forget to use barracuda nets. CAPT Dax H.
What type of paddle board is that? been looking for a good one to use for fishing and the surfboard looking ones dont feel right to me for lack of a better way to put it
Thanks for making time to leave the nice comment. Day 2 was much more active, so be sure to keep an eye out for that one... should be ready in a day or two. Fish On!
I got a couple kayak holder attachments from yak attack that secures into the tracking on the side of the board... and I use them to hold the anchor pin when not in use and then to secure the end of the rope when it's being used.

@@Saltstrong They like the shallow area right where parked I walk north in the shallow area, sometimes there are kiteboarders around and they got to go around me.

At the first spot were using a jig head or weedless setup??
I also have an L2fish board but I haven't decided on how to tie anchor pin rope to the board. How do you tie off the anchor pin to the board?

Awesome trip
Thanks Jerry!
