@@Lightfulsyn no its the Indomitable Human Spirit, because the creators probably said something about destroying humanity and thats probably why humanity tried to destroy them
I always found this song interesting, on the original song before comments were disabled, everyone was going “such an american song to shoot the aliens” But like, it seems pretty logical, american or not, we has know clue what the aliens wanted from us when they said to impress them, if we created what we called utopia that might not be up to par with the aliens. So the only logical course of action was to take every measure to defend humanity. I also like the idea that in the end the aliens were pleased because they now knew humanity could stand on its own feet.
Ooh i actually quite like that ending, like maybe some wouldn’t like it cause it promotes weapons as the answer (like if it was a movie or smthndjskhd) but there’s kind of a poetic feel to the aliens liking our much more aggressive take on their offer
I also like the fact that humans are described here as coming together in effort to destroy 1 common enemy, which would probably be the only way how humanity would be united
@@shermantank7905 Its the humans saying that the end, the aliens being impressed bit is how I like to imagine it, nothing in the song gives me that vibe, it leaves it quite open.
I like the message of this song tbh. In the end, humanity did improve themselves and presumably found world peace, just through... unconventional means
Our entire reality is based on battle. Our very existence lies on the Crucible of Conflict. An attempt to deny this will make sure we are never complete.
ive never heard of tub ring in my life but this song wiggles my brain and it makes me really happy. also is it ok if im madly in love with this character
Listen, I found this song a couple years ago because Spotify kept adding it to my Bear Ghost playlist. Now, years later, this has been a song I use to release my rage as my unit goes through a strike. It's been nearly three months, and the strike is technically over, but I don't think I'll ever be able to sing this song without directing "Fight us you'll kill one-fifth WE'LL TAKE TWO THIRDS WHO GIVES A SHIIIIT" at the contractor's association who keeps trying to screw us over. I love this song and I wish I could do it at karaoke.

Very, very curious. Of course man might wage war against God thinking he could win. We take 2/3rds of their people? What about the other 1/3rd? Could that 1/3rd be the ones who fell and are already here?
@@malako777A its exactly this kind of thinking thats stopping us from killing god 🙄 legit tho given *10 whole years* and a warning humans would develop INSANE weapons technology (like, look at whats been made WITHOUT the threat of an alien attack) also the aliens are UNDERESTIMATING the humans at the start, thinking they can waltz in, call themselves gods, and give humanity an ultimatum like that an inflated ego at that level *must* be punished, narratively speaking

that makes the end being "so how 'bout that?" sound much more of a "This works, right?" than a threat hahah, I love it

Through the most human way possible
There are actually a lot of books like that, where humanity is only united through a greater war. ie: Enders Game
We do love our big bads.
Well, the best way to unite is against a common enemy 🤷

I couldn't stop thinking about this song for two days straight so I had to listen to it for like an hour
