Nice loud ride on 27-536! I noticed a lot of STL 07/09XX are loud, like 0701, 0809, 0810, 0812, 0815, and 0904 (not quite sure). There’s probably a lot more than those that I’ve listed.
Oh man, you want a loud ride, ride the 0612 lol. Also, 0402 and 0704 are quite noisy. Between the three I named, I wouldn't know if 0402 or 0612 is louder though.
I heard that the new Bellechase bus garage will be opening this fall, which will replace the aging St. Denis garage. I wonder what the STM will do with all the existing buses currently at St. Denis (My guess is that they will bring them over to the new garage when it opens).
Initially, Bellechasse' garage was for the new electric buses that would arrive in 2025 and in the future. What I heard is that it might get delayed a bit, due to the financial situation of the STM.
@@georges625 Yep, classic. They have a whole god damn financial problem, yet they still choose to order new electric buses which cost a fortune, instead of keeping the 26-XXX and 27-0XX for much cheaper.
@@StmTransit1966 I don't want to defend them, but maybe their strategy or idea was : if we keep older buses, they will continuously cost us some reparation expenses + older fleet reputation, in comparison of the new buses that would be electric, (huge publicity for people to buy electric cars too for the gouvernment goal) + newer fleet. That would be my guess. I would have prefered them to keep older buses though.
@@StmTransit1966Great, another 2nd gen running all day. The 27-XXX buses are on their way to death. At the current rate, I think they will all be gone sometime this fall. Gotta catch them now!
Nice ride on line 61 !

You might have to take hybrids next wek because the heatwave will be uncomfortable
Haha I know right. 35C feeling 45C, let's say I haven't seen this type of heat in like 3 years.
I noticed that 27-022 was running nonstop since this morning, it’s currently doing the 141. I absolutely hate the fact that the STM does this.
Yes the STL is doing such a better job at making these buses last long, not to mention 27-520 has been doing the 71 since yesterday…

I hope that the FTHCQ preserves one of the remaining two 27-0XX, like they did with 15-140.
@@GarbageTrucksOfROR Yeah me too. they’ve also preserved 33-008 by the way.
@@StmTransit1966 I know, it’s amazing that they did.
