That is not Taiwanese instant noodle. 1. It is simplified Chinese on the package. 2. the company "統一“ is ''uni-president'', not ''unif'' which you can see from the logo on the package.
The package outside has simplified Chinese on it so I would not say that instant noodle is from Taiwan. Even the brand is "統一" which is one major Taiwanese food company but "統一" also sell instant noodles in China.
Most likely, Chinese knock off! At best, it’s a Taiwanese brand made in China (unlikely). We have the same thing sold here in Seattle too. My next door Polish/overseas-chinese Canadian neighbors and I both independently adopted the same policy - in asian supermarkets, if it says Made In China, put it down. Because Chinese food safety issues are way too alarming.
That kind of noodles(統一紅燒牛肉麵) is not sold in Taiwan (can't find it on the official website of Uni-President), The packaging bag is in simplified Chinese, which should be produced by the unified enterprise in the mainland factory, I think the brewing time of instant noodles should not be too long, it will greatly affect the taste ....keep trying more 😉😘
It doesn't look like Taiwanese made. but I think even with Taiwan made same kind of instant noodles, Johnny would score 2.5 as well. To make it better, I would do it with boiling water. you add some vegetables, real meats and then the sachets ,and then an egg. turn off fire then lastly you add the dry noodles and wait till it is done. you can have a beautifully made noodle soup then. PS:when you make Korean noodles, the noodles needs to be in boiling water for 3 minutes. saying it just in case , I quess both of you wouldn't like that kind of spicy ones.
The latest fad in America is spicy Korean ramen! They're everywhere! There's a Taiwanese grocery chain in California that carries a plethora of noodles from Taiwan!
That's great, there's nothing like that near to us! There is an Asian supermarket in our nearest city so we'll be going to check that out at some point and see what we can find!
Oh you guys don’t know Japanese brings the skill to cook instant noodles on top of the game😂 they measure the amount, the temperature, the cooking time to very precise unit.
Sorry to tell u that’s not Taiwan instant noodles but Chinese, we,Taiwanese, did not eat that much than once

Thanks! That makes sense, I couldn't work out why it had simplified Chinese on when I thought it was a Taiwanese brand!

Ah, that makes sense, thanks!

@@jonnyandlauratw How's the weather where you are? I am in San Francisco / Silicon Valley which is known for great weather year-round!
Pretty good so far this year, 15 celsius today which isn't bad for march in the UK. Certainly wouldn't say it's good year round here though 🌧️

Very funny 😁
I think Cup Noodles is the most delicious instant noodle :D
