do you think they fully intended these harmonies? It seems like most of them seem more natural from writing/ playing the songs together acoustic. I don't think that they put much thought into it. What's your opinion on that? Great video btw. i play in bands and sing for a long time but never did harmonies ''by design'', only some for records with synth/ organ lines to sing along to create a special harmony effect like the last part of 'standing next to me' for example. I do this for years and have no idea about anything you said haha. It's still a good video and your voice is good. But yeah, do you think they did all those harmonies ''by design''?

Agreed, aside from certain parts, I don't think they calculate these harmonies before hand, I think it's more intuition, kind of trial and error and if it sounds good they keep it. Most of my vids analyzing music is just for us listeners to understand the theory behind it, but not necessarily that the song was built with the theory in mind, personally I think that's almost never the case (same thing for chord progressions etc.)
