In contrary, no mater how many time she performed in bad vocal condition, in fact, one of her major concerts (Silver) was cut short because she lost her voice due to viral infection, she herself though people would boo her, or walked out, it was the other way around. People seemed to appreciate her more, loved her and supported her. The Silver rewind and all of her conserts after it were proof that she still marketable and top selling consert artists in the country. I think, the showbusiness (showbiz) world think differently when it comes to market. It is hard to explain why RVA can still sell tickets and still bankable artist besides her vocal reliability nowadays. Sa mga producers, aanhin nila ang magaling na boses, perfect and new kung hnd nila ma market the way they can with RVA? And usapan kasi jan eh, sino ba ang mabenta.. Sino ang naghahakot ng kita. RVA can stage 3 nights sold out conserts kahit na sabihin pa naten na minsan wla sa kundisyon ang boses niya. Imagine, Alam nmn ng mga Private Company or ng lahat yung kundisyon niya pero the fact that they still choose her, agreed to pay her TF, that fact does not vary with RVA's voice condition. Maybe, for them, its no longer about her voice. Maybe, its about the opportunity that an Icon like her be once part of their event, or maybe, its about the inspirations she brings, ... actually we dont know.. May choice naman sila, pero as of now, RVA is still bankable.
Hoping that the 2 Great Filipina Queens LEA SALONGA of Musical Theater and REGINE VELASQUEZ of Pop will have a LIVE concert together showcasing their different vocal powers and styles. It will be a long awaited history in the making. But I guess for that to happen, Regine needs to improve her voice and make it almost at par with her vocal ability 10 yrs ago, maybe with enough rest, medication, vocal training para mabawasan o mawala yung raspiness at maging mas soft and agile again. When the time comes magsama si LS and RV parehong in great shape, smoothness and quality ang voices nila kahit different powers, techniques, styles and tones. Aside from the Philippines, how wonderful if they can also do it sa US and showcase to the world the 2 Filipina living legends with 2 different musical genres and careers spanning around more or less 40 yrs in one stage. 😊
