Episode 2= fantastic! I love the shots and the mix between music, talking nature sounds etc. perfection! I also like how you are not glamorizing the hike, some sections are awesome, some are not, blowdowns suck, bugs are nasty but alpine lakes are glorious and the views are insane. Thanks for another great video Darwin!

I absolutely fell in love with the Bob last summer. I was based out of West Glacier but kept going back to the Bob over and over again, accessing from the east side. Tons of really cool forest service cabins and some of the best horse camps I’ve ever seen. I would go days without seeing another soul, just me and the pup. I did have a couple sketch encounters with grizzly bears but comes with the territory. Thanks for the great content!

The past few months have been really tough on me, but slowly i’ve been parsing through, and backpacking has emerged as one of the few things about me that I wouldn’t let go of, no matter what. I just want to thank you for all of the effort you put into sharing your experience. Your effort literally helped me find a part of myself out there in the country. Thank you so much. I’m enjoying watching you it’s quite a flashback of memory. My wife and I did the first 400 miles of the CDT in the 90s. Started in Waterton ended at the bottom of Yellowstone. State of the art equipment was our Dana design still water backpacks, 6.5lb empty, base weight of 40 pounds, we must’ve been pretty Studley to carry those. Glacier was like a resort compared to Bob Marshall. At the time the trail head at the Bob Marshall was not well marked it took us a day to find the trail from the campground next to the road. I don’t know if they still do this but they used to take the “bad bears” out of Yellowstone and glacier and relocate them to the Bob Marshall.

The extra miles you put in for videography probably make you more tired. It makes for a terrific video btw. I hope your trip is truly blessed and that you stay happy and healthy. Sure wish you’d share your cold soaking meal recipes, with your quality/taste opinions . I get that one has to hike their own hike; but, your opinions on the pros and cons of your hike and kit would be a good thing. Thanks for sharing this adventure. Texas

Darwin, was wondering if you might do an updated camera setup video in the future? Your most recent in depth camera setup video was with the EOS R, but I know you have been favoring the EOS M6 Mark II for your last several hikes. Would love to see and hear a description of your camera, lens, filter, etc setup. If you think it's something your audience would be interested in. I know I would be. Looking to up the quality of my own content, the GoPro Hero 7 just didn't cut it on my AT thru this year. 😂
