Read Mark 10.18 very carefully. It proves that Jesus is declaring himself NOT to be God! There are dozens of *_unambiguous_* verses which are unitarian in nature -- denying "trinity." Every "trinity" proof text has multiple possible interpretations, including Genesis 1.26. In other words, they are *_ambiguous!_* When your entire topic is based solely on weak premises, and the counter argument is based on strong premises, then the weak side loses! *_But don't despair! You can't worship the holy Spirit, the holy spirit is not a being. The Bible is very clear that the holy Spirit is simply Gods power, not some separate being that can be equated to either God or Jesus. The trinity is a pagan conception of God. Get to know the one whom you seek to worship.

Jesus also said at John 4:24 “you must worship in spirit and truth” if they do not have truth how will they get it without a person confronting them as Paul did to Peter. Paul taught to rebuke (1 Timothy 5:20-22/Galatians 2:11-21) I sincerely believe the Trinity is breaking God’s law and teachings/doctrines of God’s word. Jesus taught there is only one true God (John 17:1-3/Mark 12:28-34) and the apostles taught there to be one God and one mediator for man (1 Timothy 2:5) and they preached that Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ/Messiah anointed of God. I have a serious question, If we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and repent, we will be saved? But my question is, if we also have to first repent to be saved, is this Than a work we must do to be saved? I’m in my teen years right now. I used to be a Christian when I was a younger child, I wasn’t committing much of sins, but then by I converted to Islam. I don’t know if this is a sign, but then I randomly started seeing some videos about Christianity. After watching some of them, I started to watch videos that depicted the Life of Jesus Christ. I haven’t even finished learning about the Gospel of John, and I’m starting to slowly not commit as much sins as I used to. I am slowly feeling like I am in the process of being restored. I don’t know what to do, but I am going to study both the Quran and the Bible as I try to devote my life to God for the upcoming year. I will come back and edit this comment saying if I rejoin Christianity, or stay to Islam. Please tell me more about the 2 religions. May God guide to the correct path.

I prefer the sandwich analogy. There are many actually. It's 1 sandwich but it's made up of 2 bread and 1 cheese. Or water..H2O.. Two Ghosts and a Man Or the bike.. 2 wheels and 1 frame Or a house. We are taught that the father is the mind , the son is the heart, and the holy Spirit is the breath of life, and they exist as one God. This is a the holy trinity. It is a way of describing the holy trinity. I guess I needed to clarify.

What about the scriptures that say that the Father is greater than the son or that the sun has to give dominion back to the Father or that the son sits at the right hand of the throne of the Father... Doesn't it seem to indicate that there is a hierarchy?
Jesus is the Word who was made flesh & dwelt among us. The One who speaks the Word is greater than the Word for the Word does as He is spoken. That's why Jesus said, so many times, that He literally does not do anything, it is the Father who does & says all things. If you read John 5:19 from the trinitarian point of view, you would have to believe that two people are doing the same thing twice: first the Father (as Jesus watches) then Jesus follows & does the same thing. But that is not what is happening, Jesus speaks in this enigmatic way so that HE will be found by those who truly want to know the Father.

If you put all the preachers and scientists together that’s in the entire world and pay them to come up with a definition or formula for the TRINITY , It couldn’t happen, EVEN IF THEY HAD ALL THE INFORMATION,
Trinity is not a Bible word. But the term Godhead is the New Testament 3 times. It’s probably a better term. Anyway, the doctrine of the Godhead teaches 1) that there is only one God, 2) the Father is God, 3) the Son is God, and 4) the Spirit is God. I defined the doctrine of the Trinity in one sentence. Not so hard after all. It didn’t even require all the preachers and scientists in the whole world to define it. Now you might not agree with the doctrine, but it’s been defined. I have a fun idea for you. Rather than looking for verses that try to disprove the biblical doctrine of the Godhead, why don’t you take a few weeks out of your life and read the New Testament looking for verses that actually prove the doctrine. You might be surprised at how many passages you find that support it. Read it with an open mind. Yeah, I know, you probably won’t bother. But it would definitely be worth your time. Electricity is composed of positive, negative and neutral charged particles. 6.) The three states of water (liquid, vapor, and solid). In its natural form, water is liquid. When boiled it turns into vapor, and when frozen, it becomes solid. 7.) For all practical purposes our world is a three-dimensional world (excluding the fourth dimension of time which is its own trinity), where all objects possess height, length, and width. 8.) A tree has roots, a trunk, and branches. 9.) The three parts of an egg (shell, white, yolk). I could go on and on. So there you have it. As an atheist, I listen to these to genuinely learn the other side. Even though I was in the religion for 20 plus years the trinity not counting as three gods never made sense. The teaching of the trinity is muddled and confusing at best and at worst, it is theologically dishonest. There are so many scriptures that point to there being a ONE God, not a triune God. That it paints the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost as equals is a damnable heresy. When was a son ever equal to his father? Who is greater? I'll just leave you with John 14:28 for starters.

Ephesians 2:18 NKJV [18] For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. All 3 in one scripture. If they all title for one person this sentence makes no sense. 3 persons 1 God. Triune. And so so much more. Read John chp 14 to chp 17

The Trinity is right there from the beginning of the Bible. We also see a little of the Trinity in the story of Sodom and Gomorrah where Yahweh comes down with 2 angels and meets with Abraham and the two angels go into the cities to check for righteous people. They only get Lot and his family out. So The Lord “Yahweh” who was with Abraham overlooking the cities called down fire and burning sulfur upon the cities from the Lord “Yahweh” in the Heavens. Here we read that there are at least 2 Yahweh’s but there is only 1 God. Even the Jewish Shema that states “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One” tells us that though there is only one God, the word for “ONE” is Echad. This word Echad is used way back in Genesis when speaking about Adam and Eve being ONE flesh or Echad flesh. Here we have 2 Persons who are one in essence/nature/being just like God is described of being 1 God who is more then one in Person. Father, Son, Holy Spirit was there from the beginning! The creator also made water. Water can be in three different states on earth at the same time, Liquid, solid ( ice) and Gas ( vapour). No one has a problem understanding this. This is the image that mankind was made in, pretty straight forward, until we read this:

Now, if you’re paying attention you’re going to have the same question I had, “if God created them male and female, why was Adam alone, what happened to Eve?” And this brings us to an understanding that when God created mankind, He made them both male and female within the same body. Adam and Eve were literally one, the Hebrew word being “echad”, meaning one. This is the image of God that I believe mankind was created in, I say that because of what follows next:

From the beginning Adam knew Eve, she was there, she was real, but she didn’t have any form of her own, she lived within Adam’s consciousness. Think of it like the creation process itself. Before we create something we have a vision or an image of what we desire to create in our minds eye. We can clearly see each and every detail as if it’s right there before us, we “know” it inside and out. We are echad with it…
So just as in the beginning Eve was one with Adam, in the beginning before the creation of anything else Christ was echad with the Father. Just as Eve was begotten of Adam, Christ was begotten of the Father. It was in this oneness that the Father created all things through Christ, thus mankind became His responsibility. The Apostle John understood this, which is why he began his account of the gospel this way.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” (John 1:1-3)
John tells us that in the beginning, before everything else was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and we know that the Word is Christ who came to dwell among us. (John 1:14).
“All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain before the creation of the world.” (Revelation 13:8)
Scripture tells us that Christ was there from the beginning, before the creation of anything, Christ was there, which is why He tells us:
“I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, before Abraham was born, I am!” (John 8:58)
This is why the Scriptures tell us: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” (Deuteronomy 6:4)
In simple terms, since the Father is Spirit, man is unable to interact with Him in a way we can understand and relate to, so He manifested Himself in the form of man, Christ.
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,”

I sincerely believe the Trinity is breaking God’s law and teachings/doctrines of God’s word. Jesus taught there is only one true God (John 17:1-3/Mark 12:28-34) and the apostles taught there to be one God and one mediator for man (1 Timothy 2:5) and they preached that Jesus is the Son of God, the Christ/Messiah anointed of God. (Which we all can agree on, I believe) (Acts 9:20, 22)
And we should not go beyond scripture
(1 Corinthians 4:6) and I truly believe that the Trinity is going against scripture.
There are difficult passages to understand (which I believe are explained with other scriptures within scripture) but as Peter said at 2 Peter 3:15-18.

I’m in my teen years right now. I used to be a Christian when I was a younger child, I wasn’t committing much of sins, but then by I converted to Islam. Yes I have been remembering God, but I also feel like I have been in a trap of sin. I am reading some of the Quran but not everyday. I don’t know if this is a sign, but then I randomly started seeing some videos about Christianity. After watching some of them, I started to watch videos that depicted the Life of Jesus Christ. I haven’t even finished learning about the Gospel of John, and I’m starting to slowly not commit as much sins as I used to. I am slowly feeling like I am in the process of being restored. I don’t know what to do, but I am going to study both the Quran and the Bible as I try to devote my life to God for the upcoming year. I will come back and edit this comment saying if I rejoin Christianity, or stay to Islam. Please tell me more about the 2 religions. May God guide to the correct path.

If you read John 5:19 from the trinitarian point of view, you would have to believe that two people are doing the same thing twice: first the Father (as Jesus watches) then Jesus follows & does the same thing. But that is not what is happening, Jesus speaks in this enigmatic way so that HE will be found by those who truly want to know the Father.

Trinity is not a Bible word. But the term Godhead is the New Testament 3 times. It’s probably a better term. Anyway, the doctrine of the Godhead teaches 1) that there is only one God, 2) the Father is God, 3) the Son is God, and 4) the Spirit is God. I defined the doctrine of the Trinity in one sentence. Not so hard after all. It didn’t even require all the preachers and scientists in the whole world to define it. Now you might not agree with the doctrine, but it’s been defined. I have a fun idea for you. Rather than looking for verses that try to disprove the biblical doctrine of the Godhead, why don’t you take a few weeks out of your life and read the New Testament looking for verses that actually prove the doctrine. Human eyes have three types of light cells to interpret all the visible light rays we see. Equal amounts of these three lights produces the appearance of white light in our brain.
The nature of light, consisting of three kinds of rays:
a. Chemical Rays-rays that are invisible, and can neither be felt nor seen.
b. Light Rays-rays that are seen, but cannot be felt.
c. Heat Rays-rays that are felt, but never seen.
2.) Perhaps another model of the Trinity in nature is in the mysterious event or phenomena we call fire. Fire needs three things in order to survive or exist. It needs Heat, Fuel and Oxygen.
3.) Atoms are made of three basic particles = Protons, Neutrons and Electrons. The building blocks of all physical substances. Protons have a positive charge, electrons are negative and neutrons are neutral.
4.) Time itself reflects a trinity consisting of the past, present, and future.
5.) Electricity is composed of positive, negative and neutral charged particles.
6.) The three states of water (liquid, vapor, and solid). In its natural form, water is liquid. When boiled it turns into vapor, and when frozen, it becomes solid.
7.) For all practical purposes our world is a three-dimensional world (excluding the fourth dimension of time which is its own trinity), where all objects possess height, length, and width.
8.) A tree has roots, a trunk, and branches.
9.) The three parts of an egg (shell, white, yolk).
I could go on and on. So there you have it. Not only is God a Trinity, including us humans (since we were created in his own image), but literally everything in creation that was ever created is a Trinity. Hope that was helpful and fruitful. Much love and God bless.

As an atheist, I listen to these to genuinely learn the other side. Even though I was in the religion for 20 plus years the trinity not counting as three gods never made sense. Scripture states without equivocation, the image of God is male and female, and He called THEM Adam (Gen 5:2). not just the male. That's TWO who are ONE in a holy union of ONE flesh. Then obviously, God is TWO who are ONE in a Holy Union of ONE Spirit.
Jesus rejoices in the Holy Spirit who fully fills Him and calls Him by name - Father. If ever there was a place for Jesus to include the Trinity’s Third Person as being with the two of them, it would have been in verse 22 below.

The First Adam was a created being entirely of the dust of the earth (a living soul). He was the first of his kind. The breath of life from God animated his body of flesh, and Adam would live only so long as he remained IN the Presence of God. When he disobeyed and was cast out of His Presence (the Garden with the Tree of Life), his body began to die and eventually decayed and returned to dust.
The Last Adam was begotten, not created (to “beget” indicates the male parent donated half of the genetic material to the offspring). The Most High transferred “life in Himself”, the essence of the uncreated Being, to the Son during procreation, the incorruptible seed. Jesus was the first of His kind (a life-giving spirit). The body was made of a virgin, but the Christ Himself is eternal - the Word who WAS in the beginning (existed before anything was made visible Heb 11:3), with God and WAS God (two Persons in one invisible Spirit) who became a man.
Jesus Christ lives eternally not because He is IN the Presence of God, as Adam was, HE IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD (“I and my Father are one”), wrapped first in a body of mortal flesh, just like ours, then resurrected, without decay, immortal, and who returned to His Father's Glorious Spirit where He came from (John 17:5).

Well... some of other scholar explain a different thing... Ex. Dr.Michael Heiser , He said that it was not meant to be about the Holy Trinity ...but about the Divine Council ( also about the rebellious Sons). He studied more about Psalm (especially from Psalm 82)

Jesus was conceived and born of a woman (Matthew 1:18-25). He thus had a human body. He experienced hunger, thirst and fatigue (Matt. 4:2; John 4:6; etc.). He suffered and died (John 19:34). He could be heard, seen and touched (1 John 1:1). He evidenced the emotional and intellectual qualities of a human being (see Matt. 26:37 and Mark 9:21). Yet, He was, Is and will always be God.

The teaching of the trinity is muddled and confusing at best and at worst, it is theologically dishonest. There are so many scriptures that point to there being a ONE God, not a triune God. That it paints the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost as equals is a damnable heresy. When was a son ever equal to his father? Who is greater? I'll just leave you with John 14:28 for starters.
God is one. The Trinity just puts a label on what the Bible has shown us from Genesis to Revelation - that God is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Trinity is right there from the beginning of the Bible. We also see a little of the Trinity in the story of Sodom and Gomorrah where Yahweh comes down with 2 angels and meets with Abraham and the two angels go into the cities to check for righteous people. They only get Lot and his family out. So The Lord “Yahweh” who was with Abraham overlooking the cities called down fire and burning sulfur upon the cities from the Lord “Yahweh” in the Heavens.
Here we read that there are at least 2 Yahweh’s but there is only 1 God.
Even the Jewish Shema that states “Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One” tells us that though there is only one God, the word for “ONE” is Echad. This word Echad is used way back in Genesis when speaking about Adam and Eve being ONE flesh or Echad flesh. Here we have 2 Persons who are one in essence/nature/being just like God is described of being 1 God who is more then one in Person. Father, Son, Holy Spirit was there from the beginning! Yeah, quite emotional, but false. Nowhere in Genesis is the trinity mentioned. The only reference to the trinity is in John, and it was added in the 4th century.

Because he was telling them that Jesus is the Father, Jesus is the Son, and Jesus is the Holy Ghost. Peter knew who Jesus was in Mark 8, so there was no human more qualified to say who Jesus was than Peter. It’s all in the book, you just have to read it!

God the father. God the son. God the Holy Spirit. They make up the trinity. They created man in their image but it was only one of him. They created woman from his rib making two. The two have a kid this creating a trinity. Man is now in God’s image.
Also, if you have kids, you can imagine the yearning to love and be loved by them? Well, that's why God chases us down with his reckless and perfect love so that we can be with God as well. We are truly made in His image.

we have the scriptures.....dead sea scrolls....hundreds of archeological digs proving the Word of Truth....so you don't have to trust any man....Trust the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit....you could simply read!
And then what happens when the second child comes along? Then suddenly it's not such a good example to show the Trinity.
