    What kind of hotels do you guys wanna stay at in Japan? We loved having the kitchen here! ✨

      For someone visiting Japan for the first time and plan on staying in the country for roughly a month, but not in the same city, would the amenities in the hotel make a difference? Yeah the kitchen would be nice because I would want a light, healthy, and familiar option for a meal but would there be a day where I would spend an extended amount of time in the room? I appreciate knowing what options exist.

      UAN Kanazawa seems nice that's where I plan on staying when I can go to seek Kanazawa. I think I'd like to experience a wide range of hotels though so seeing videos like this that offer a nice price but also a special feature like a kitchen is giving me a lot to think about. 100% need a to stay in a place with a private onsen in the room at least once though.

    Having cooked my own breakfast on some trips, I honestly think that it is easier to just hit a kombini for something light in the morning rather than spend the 2 hours in your room cooking and cleaning up after yourself, not to mention shopping for all the ingredient that you'll need.
    I just see it as taking an account of how much you've already paid just to be there (flight, hotel, rail pass, wifi hotspot, etc) and asking how you want to spend that existing cost on your trip.
    If you pay attention to what you choose to eat, you can eat surprisingly healthy and budget friendly; even from a kombini.

    • @electrogeek77

      Kitchens can be really helpful for some folks, though, such as families and those with dietary restrictions. It all depends on your needs and what's worth it to you.

    8:40 I love seeing people kanpai. It's interesting to see who's glass is where and when. Fascinating.

    Mystery staircase.. where does it go? Sauna (nice to see something Finnish..) Matsutake (Finnish name tuoksuvalmuska) brings also Finland to my mind, because it is imported to Japan from Finland. Nice and delicious cooking! For your information when going to Sauna in Finland, it is.. naked without clothes.. (original way) 🙂To my surprise this video contained a lot Finnish things... I read and watched Linnas page and there was description "The sauna is Finnish-style that allows you to sprinkle water on sauna stones in a small Sauna stove. (in Finnish word “Löyly”)"

    Why am I just realizing now that Sarah is vegetarian? You guys should highlight that more in videos for all of the other fellow veggie eaters out there. Also deff adding Kanazawa to my Japan travel list. It gives me Kyoto vibes with out a million tourists and from these videos it seems easy enough to get around with out a car!

    • @ashakydd1
      @ashakydd1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sarah's vegetarianism has come up before, but she isn't often a central person in Tokyo Creative videos; though, that is starting to change.

    • @seerasan
      @seerasan ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi! I just wanted to jump in and clarify this :)
      I'm not a vegetarian and more of a 'flexiterian'. I prefer to eat less/no meat whenever possible, but definitely still eat it for work shoots and when going out to eat with friends at restaurants here. If I didn't live in Japan, I'd definitely love to transition to a veggie lifestyle though!

    • @evergreenalien
      @evergreenalien ปีที่แล้ว

      @@seerasan Thanks for clarifying that! Either way I am always excited to hear about veggie options. From other youtubers I watch and some friends who have been to Japan it does seem hard to fully adapt that lifestyle in Japan for sure. Just being conscious about what you eat is super important. I always find great tips from TC videos, looking forward to move videos and going irl to try see myself one day!
