Very nice video. I have the SRO bottle cook kit and the SRO standard canteen kit. I added the pouches similar to yours to the bottle kit. But it's cumbersome to carry in the fashion that your carrying canteen cook kit. Thanks again for the video
Have you put it on your back like a butt pack or perhaps in the front like a fanny pack? I know my set up isn’t for everyone but I found that with my system I can carry a ton of the smalls that I don’t want just jostling around in a pack or haversack.. thank you for your comment
No I have not. I think the problem lies in the length. I'll give it try later and let you know. I had thought about making some sort of suspenders for it to help keep it place.
Then I would suggest finding straps from shoulder bags from laptop bags or go to a thrift shop before spending good money on good suspenders just to be sure it is what you are looking for… save some time and money
Very nice setup. Aside from your first aid kit that you metioned it appears to be a self-sustaining unit. Thanks for the tip on the side bags and where to find them.
did you know UCO have another variation on the matchsafe with matches ? they call it the Fire Starting Kit it's the same size tube contains only 12 matches instead of 25, but includes 3 cubes of their Sweetfire firestarter

Yea CJ I literally decided to just throw together a quick video and didn’t even think to make certain all items were in this kit… oops…
Great video my friend.. I’m ordering the canteen set and the Tacticool pouches today
You will most definitely enjoy this set up and I am certain that you’ll make yours fit your needs
The orange on the signal mirror is consistent with the SOL branding.
I assumed so but didn’t want to sound like an idiot in my already tired and sleepy state of mind.. thank you
When you test those UCO matches, I'd like to know if the striker surface works when wet
For sure worm. I too am curious about the striker surface.. I suppose we will see…

I did not know that, but if UCO wants to send me some, I’d gladly do a review for them, and perhaps add it to my arsenal of gear
Where did you get the containers for spices.
Diane, believe it or not I got those glass bottles from Dollar Tree in the craft area. They carry both of the sizes shown in my video…
