I saw them on the Don’t Look Back tour. They played the whole album in order. Took a short break and came back and played the whole first album. EPIC!

He’s not Brad, there will only be one Brad.. but, he’s as close as you’re gonna get and he did a fantastic job. And I do think they sound great.

I saw Boston live back in 1994. The moment the guys walked onto the stage, everyone stood up and stayed that way for the whole concert. It was amazing and the stadium was rockin. To hear Brad Delp sing live is mind blowing. Sorry to say, I'm not impressed with the current lead singer and will not watch another video with him in it. Tom Schloz doesn't even look like he's enjoying himself.

This is the first decent audio/video footage I have seen in my lifetime since the debut album came out. The singer couldn't get any closer to Brad than he is....remarkable. The audio/video recording is great and the whole package is a treat after so many decades. The one and only BOSTON by BOSTON. Never ever there will be a debut album as epic as this one. Those were the days when the R n R was the fuel for life. Fantastic job by Image Factory.

I get all giddy when I look behind Tom and see the rack full of the Scholz Rockman guitar overdrive , effects and distortion units . The Iconic Blue fronts are unmistakable. I owned several of them in the day. They are hard to find today, but Ill bet not so hard for the man who created them. Iconic band, and right up there with one of the most educated bands in rock. Brian May from Queen has a PHD in Astro Physics. Tom Scholz of Boston a graduate of MIT, and electronic wiz.

Gary Pihl (pronounced "peel") very talented guy,
'Sammy Hagar was the opening act at the end of Boston's first tour in 1977 and opened the whole second tour in 1978/79. It was on those tours that Pihl met Tom Scholz. The two of them found out how much they had in common with their extensive home studios and techniques. It set up a lifelong bond and a few years later Tom asked Pihl to join Boston, after Hagar decided to join Van Halen. ' -Wiki

Great things come out of Boston. The Cars, Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito, Larry Bird, and the band Boston. Revolutionized the rock industry. Set the bar for tone very high, then a lot of bands tried to get the sound. Nothing could match the original. Everyone talks about Tom Scholz the engineering wizard. Great composer, master sound mixer, and he's also a great musican on the keyboards and guitar.

Boston was my first concert ever! Openers were Blue Oyster Cult and Tommy Bolin 1976 McNicohls Arena.
Tom was an MIT grad in Electrical Engineering. The reason it took forever to release albums is Tom had a side hustle making effects pedals. In one interview, he said the pinnacle of his career was when Jeff Beck ordered the only peddle he only had one of. 😎

Read my post again! I stated "Many years ago" and by that I'm talking in the mid-late 90's. That said, you have a right to YOUR opinion as much as I have a right to MINE!

Great visual with that backdrop. Saw them in '78 they literally had a sheet hanging behind the drum kit. Sammy Hagar opened for them, don't think I didn't see Gary there on guitar. He was poached from Hagar, great pickup by the way. Keep on rocking Boston✌️

Every time I see this band, they astonish me. I only got to see them play once in ‘17, but have hit multiple shows on other tours. Just how tight and masterful every execution of each note is phenomenal. I saw Tommy D and his band twice this year, and his voice is amazing! This video is amazing, because I love seeing each band member loving every minute!
