Great information! I normally DPS and have never really looked at the Buffs tab. Knowing that this is a tab I should start investigating is very helpful! I also loved the comment "Or they never had taunt in the first place!" You sounded a bit spicy there! I am starting to expand my horizons into tanking and healing. I'd enjoy seeing a video for each showing what areas are the best to look at to make sure I'm doing what I need to do. I'd also like to see a video down the road that is a bit more advanced that talks about how you, as a raid lead, use logs to determine who need practice, what sets aren't working and should be changed out, etc. Although a video on leading a raid could be a series all on it's own!
XD I mean missing taunts on things is REAL! Just last night a smaller enemy stood infront of the boss and got the taunt instead of the boss causing the boss to go after someone at random until we realized what happened! Ohh logs are certainly great for getting a metric for healing and tanking as there is no clear in game metric like damage dealers have! There are a few buffs and debuffs I have lined up to review, but if you have a specific one (like say you are wearing the set encratis and want to know how to track those uptimes), just let me know! My goal with these videos is to actually get more players reading their own logs so the poor raid leads don't have to manage one more thing X.X It is hard enough herding a group for hours every week to then follow it up with hours of scouring logs! I am working on making a series of videos covering buffs/ debuffs/ uptimes, mechanics, and other elements of eso logs that raid leads and players can easily identify the video to be what they need to answer a specific question (such as how to check elemental catalyst up times!). Once I have made all of these I can make a raid lead checklist and link those vids so they know how to find that information! :D Long term goals!
i've been playing ESO for 2 years and I've been trying to get into a deeper depth of understanding, this is a great video and i wish everyone could recommend it to their friends for help on figuring out how to actually play the game mechanically.

Thank you for doing a series! I would like to know how to look at logs for veteran dungeons, to see what happened in a wipe or why someone fell over dead in a trash pull. It would be great to see it in action, like during the fight.
ACTUALLY I have an addon I suggest for this feature more than I would suggest eso logs. While I do love eso logs, in between pulls when you group is chomping at the bit for another pull and you only have seconds to review information I find that tabbing out and refreshing the log to review it is too cumbersome. Instead I suggest Lilith's Group Manager! I plan to do a full video about it >.> eventually.
