@@stoic_ape134 any other option except glue? I am still searching for ideas and this in video was my first, but no-go since I am afraid of falling off and do not want to glue it..
that can be an inspiration for any setup: Use a vertical square rustic wood log from floor to ceiling to mount a monitor/tv and hide all cables behind it. Your led idea on both sides is pretty cool. Saves the wall from drilled holes.
You're going to want to be careful with the dock, because the weight isn't the problem for the command strips, it's a problem for how strong locking mechanism on the dock cable cover is
Im worried about the Dock. If you put the straps on just the back, it risks that it can collapse from the hinge. Not that the hinge will break, but the dock could end up upside down, and the console in there broken on the floor. I'd put a small shelf, or some kind of aluminium support.
@@WhiteHawk77 no doubt. My problem was I had a nice mount to use, but didn't have a drill for the bolt-screws to latch onto the stud in the wall, so I had to borrow one and didn't realize I had set it about 6 inches too high, until after I had given it back... Thankfully I was able to borrow it again the next day, but I'd imagine most people aren't going to go out of their way to buy their own drill just to mount a tv and never need it again... Even just that 6" difference to me was massive, like, idk, it's hard to explain, but it will definitely cramp your neck if its too high. But my mount also has a swivel for vertical movement as well, so I can either put it straight forward and hang it lower, or aim it much more angled down and hang it higher.
Kevin - Have you ever considered doing a 'Best Console Setup 20xx (whichever year)' setup video showcasing excellent, clean cable managed and unique console setups? The PC crowd has been doing that for a while, and it would be incredible for someone who's as awesomely dedicated to the console space as you are, to do something like that. Would be superb. In fact, I'm I the process of completing a super elegant, Euro-Style TV stand Xbox One setup (soon to be One X) with a killer Bose Lifestyle system - with all the cables hidden what looks like essentially behind the wall. Similar to what 'Randomfrankp' does for the PC space. Just super clean. Hopefully I'll get around to making a video of it and sending it to you or something, and if you could host a monthly 'Best Console Setups' of the Month type thing, that'd be phenomenal. If anyone could pull that off, it'd be you man. Love the content, always good stuff.
I know this vid is old now, BUT I'd recommend also installing just a thin piece of (preferably black) wood or something directly under the dock to prevent it from opening and dumping the switch onto the floor. Can use velcro command strips on the thin piece to make it removable so you can open the dock up.
Doesn't this block the air intake fans on the back of the switch? If you look at the dock, you'll see it's actually designed to let air flow in through the gap at the top-back part into the air vent in the back of the switch.
Pro tip, TVs follow the same rule as art. You want your eyeline in the middle of the TV when you are gaming. Just like art on a wall while standing. Meaning youre going to get a very sore neck if this is a sit down set up.
Work in BestBuy during the summer if you know a lot about tech. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I was able to build a $10,000 PC gaming setup because I worked there for 3 summers. I really love tech so I enjoyed the job.
If you have the money for it and don't need parents to pay for it, what is their argument? Do they not want you to have video games? Do they want you to save the money for something else? Do you have any other systems?
I’m Getting a switch soon and I want to ask about what game I should get I’m thinking of getting the new Zelda game any other game ideas please answer idk what game is best
all that i used was a scrap piece of wood about 2x1 then measure the width inside of the switch docl with the rear panel off. cut it to size so it fit snugly. then screw that piece of wood the the wall. it just jams right in place securely and i can remove the dock easily to move it
Hi guys I have a wall mounted tv that’s pretty flush and want to wall mount my switch. The usual switch adapter is too thick to fit behind my tv. Normal plugs are fine. Does anyone know if there is a thinner switch ac a pager available so I can keep all the wires hidden behind the tv?
does any1 know a thing i could buy so i can hang up my switch console without the dock. that i also can remove and hang up again easely. so i want a thing thats like a stand but that is not that much bigger than the dock
I'm convinced that dock will fall off with the unit inside it one day
Jeremy Zeeky I tried it did
Were gonna need flex glue to make sure that does t happen

Pixel cus hes a bitch
4:15 AHHHHH the joy-cons on the switch are not on the same side of their colour
IT POPS
Pokeman 1065 OCD much?
You could have multiple led strips that can change colour depending on what Joy Con are used/docked...

Goodness, your cinematography is A1!

I do not have the balls to wall mount my switch dock.
Luis Alamilla Ayyyyye Luis love your content dude!

Luis Alamilla hey, didn't know you watched kevin, yeah I feel the same, even if the switch isn't in it, it is still 90 bucks.

He has pet giraffes that like to watch tv
Best Nintendo SwitchGaming setup I saw. Was what came out of the Nintendo Switch Box.
Can you do a tour of the place you do all these setups?
I might try to use this technique to make a full scale Switch Arcade cabinet!
Tv seemed like it was mounted too high unless you like looking up when your playing.. either way good video
Good way to break your neck id say
If you feel like your neck would break from looking up then you should see a doctor.
Tv is too high and way too small
Every DIY TH-cam tutorial: "Do you need to wall mount your car???? Just use two strips of double sided tape :D "
That monitor is mounted pretty high. Are you supposed to play while standing?
How did you keep the back from popping open when you place the Switch on the dock? I try placing it and the back pops open

Command strips to hold the dock with the switch.:. Yeah I do not trust my wall or the strips enough to do this lol looks great tho
Kevin kenson the type of
Oops this isn't a rap video
Does he live there or is that an office? Because living in that warehouse type of deal looks pretty cool.
Benthegamehero L
what song were you using on 0:38.
isnt the TV too high?
review agptek capture card
I would have stuck the dock up there backwards so you can access the back flap.
Does this monitor have speakers in it?
Man... you have more switch accessories & set ups than games for the switch 😂
The beauty of simplicity 🔝🤩
Wouldn't your neck hurt after a while..?
I would at least put a piece of wood underneath the dock, way too scared that my switch would fall
-this-is-weird- good job! 👌🏻
Am amiibo or collectable shelf under it all would look great
You probably won’t read this but the desk you have your switch on at the beginning... where did you get it from if you don’t mind me asking????
He's gone mad! This is crazy but awesome!
4:00 "Yeah rather cool, won't do that when I will get a switch tho"
4:14 "Okay you got me will do it"
Seems like something they would do in gamestop
Dude kevin u not considering the back airflow???
Omg the jam is perfect.
Doesn't this block the air intake fans on the back of the switch? If you look at the dock, you'll see it's actually designed to let air flow in through the gap at the top-back part into the air vent in the back of the switch.
the joy con works like a mouse , showing the cursor at the menu ?
Can i get some links to the hardware? This is awesome!
Kevin kenson has your switch had to bending problem courses by the switch dock?
Do the joycons need to be charged differently like do you need a charging station for the controllers??
Kevin what kind of screen protector do you have for your nintendo switch.
I like the Atomic Blonde vibe from your videos
2:40
really? what if those stickers loose the glue in a few months? and what about the heat and ventilation?
Would be perfect in a Tiny House.
Do you live in a abandoned warehouse?

Are you going to keep the setup
What table is that at 0.11? IKEA?
I need a link for those two colored seats 4:11
Why wouldn't you shoot at least one clip of you actually playing it once it's set up?
The Switch isn't aligned straight. It's leaning to the left a little bit. I'm sorry but my OCD kicks in with stuff like that.
I really want a Nintendo switch, but I am not allowed to buy it! What should I do to get it, and what arguments should I use?
Jon Eia Get some parents that actually love you.
Jon Eia try to participate in switch giveaway
Wait till you're 18.
