Lake Pillans Wetlands - Lithgow

Lake Pillans Wetlands is next to the Lithgow Blast Furnace site. It is a popular reserve which has been transformed over the past 25 years from an industrial site. It feeds into the upper catchment of the Cox's river, which is a part of Sydney's water supply.
You know a wetland or river system is healthy when you can hear all the frogs.
