They help one another with raiding babies, and are gentle, patient, vigilant parents. They bond and like to be near. They are peaceable when they feel safe. They sing to one another. They like being clean and warm. With Capys, we have the opportunity to more clearly appreciate the social culture of rodentae, who otherwise tend to be highly misunderstood. I wish we could open done biopark petting zoos for capys here in the US like they have in Japan, with good veterinarians so the families would be well cared for. I’d definitely want the onsens for them, and grassy land for them to enjoy... dreaming. 💜
