I really like the new Muninn as an abyssal runner. I was hesitant with them stepping on the role of the Sacrilege with it, but between the slot layout, extra speed, and native application bonus it's an excellent niche pick for running darks. I've been running my old sacrilege in firestorms and gamma filaments actually due to only really needing to focus on thermal resists on it. I like your muninn setup a lot; the only thing I might consider swapping on it is the anti-kinetic armor pump rig for a nanobot rig to get some extra speed and hp/s on it, but it looks fantastic otherwise in this stream. What are your thoughts on the Muninn vs the Cerberus for darks?
Sacrilege always worked in Darks but it's not ideal. Thirty percent of your potential damage is in the drone bay which takes a huge hit in Darks. The Muninn is an identical missile platform, just swapping the range for the application bonus (MG Hydras to be specific). People really love their range and dislike brawling though. The original Muninn iterations went through a Nanobot and Aux Pump. They are both viable. Why I prefer Kinetic resist is it helps with alpha damage of Thunderchilds and a stack of Strike Tesseras/Tessellas. You can play around them but it gives you some comfort. Also, Nanobot puts more of your tank into capacitor. Personal preference on my end is to move as much tank out of the Minmatar capacitor as possible. My tier list for high tier Dark cruisers is: Ikitursa, Muninn, Cerb, Sac. Cerb got the tank bonus and is doing very well in Exotics. It doesn't make sense to me to move it out of Exotic. Sac likely won't get out of T5 Dark in a consistent fit (reason above, thermal resist hole, one less lowslot). I think the Muninn is T6 capable but if someone is running it they aren't sharing their info. The T5 setup here is a good start and will likely just be a matter of how much you want to invest.
@@CaldariJoans So far I'm mostly familiar with the XLSB Ishtar for t6 gammas, t6 dark iki, and the various bling gila builds. Do you think the XLSB ishtar is still king for easiest to handle in t5s and t6s, or is there a Hac or Hic setup that doesn't break the bank to do the job right? I'm personally partial to the Onyx for t5 darks and and exos due to its generous fitting allowance, but the new cerb's been growing on me. I'm extremely partial to missile ships and caldari in general, which is why I picked up on your channel.
@@Sepaedius No, I'd say the Gila is still king for strength and ease at T5 and T6. A ~600m Gila will run T5 Exotic with a Standard Blue Pill. The Ishtar is strong but you are dealing with Heavy Drones and a very thin shield buffer. The common complaint I hear from Ishtar pilots is their jumpy tank. Mutated drone equipment does help out the DPS at least (but that also applies to Gila). Personal opinion, the Onyx was never a serious contender at T6. The Cerb was already clearing T6 Dark before the buff. After November, it gained mid-grade Crystals baked in so an already capable T6 option got stronger. It also helped the Cerb operate in Exotic where it previously needed some tank love. The Broadsword was the other HIC that frequently popped up but it was at best a sidegrade from the Vaga (IMO actually a downgrade because ship speed matters). The Vaga also got buffed in November, leaving the Broadsword behind offensively. It still enjoys the honor of being the cheapest T6 HAC plus uses cheap Gamma filaments. Stormbringer also popped up on the scene. Usually run in T5/T6 Electrical. Can do Exotic as well. Might as well do T6 because what kills it there kills it in T5. That being double Overminds. Your single target is too low. If you're willing to take that gamble it is a relatively straightforward setup and doesn't break the bank. I believe some of our Abyssal Lurker content creators are going to release some cheap Stormbringer versions here soon. Torvald Uruz regularly streams the Stormbringer. Dark Iki is the Stormbringer without that weakness. The fit you see me run is an end game fun build. You can run a more reasonable setup that is on par isk-wise with the rest of the T6 non-Vaga choices. Even with a bit of bling it's still behind a T6 Dark Hydra Cerb. There's a learning curve because it's different from the rest of the meta but once you are past that point it's an easy setup. Feel free to hit me up in game or in Abyssal Lurkers. Might be easier for a dialogue if you're interested in discussing more.
Not sure if one battery is enough against heavy neut ephialtes rooms, or neut leshaks. Even without repper running you're still in a DPS race vs neut pressure.
One battery has been proven on setups like this for some time now, especially on a single rep setup. The incoming damage is so low in the spawns you listed that you have limited repair requirements.
I guess I don't understand the need for crash booster. The muinin has an application bonus and it has dual webs. It seems like crash would not be necessary unless there is a very heavy disruption wave. Is that the only reason? I haven't done T5 but in T4 I don't run any booster. I only carry a synth crash for emergencies but never used it. (using cheaper fit). I hate having to roll boosters for damage outside of emergencies.
It's more damage, especially during heavy disruption, and standard crash is cheap relative to the returns you're getting from T4 and T5. At that level you can expect 4-5 runs per round of Standard Crash. It will seem like overkill right up until it's what you needed to get through a difficult room on time. Also, you can model stuff like that on my site: caldarijoans.streamlit.app/Missile_Damage_Calc
hello...my name is Fernando and I've been playing EVE for approximately two months. In the region I do ratting the nation is Blood Rider and they have EM and thermal weakness and their damage is the same. I usually do ratting with Guila and Ishitar, but I noticed that these ships have low resistance in both types of EM and thermal damage, not achieving a very satisfactory fit, since most modules, in addition to tanking partially, also need to put a little more speed . I would like to know if there is any ratting fit for Muninn to make Blood hub anomalies, forsaken hub or even haven?

Yea, you would run Asklepians if you don't want to double roll with Exile + Crash. I just double rolled because you can go through a lot of standard boosters before you reach the cost of implants. Also, I fixed the link in the description so you can read more about the setup on my site: caldarijoans.streamlit.app/Dark_Muninn
Without knowing more I'd say you likely overrepped. What percentage weather was it? How many of the Starving Vedmaks were still alive one minute in? The thing to remember with Starving Vedmaks is they don't do much in Dark besides neut. You can lean heavily into heating your resists to get a significant boost to your tank for next to no cap consumption.
Как же ты в т5 Дарках успеваешь по времени проходить бездну на этой Цербе? У меня примерно такой фит и я т3 Дарки прохожу только за 15 минут... И не лечу в т4 Дарки .. Боюсь не хватит время на прохождение
I actually love the music. Makes it feel like a mission brief before a great war rather than playing a video game haha.

Wtf ? First run with this fit, first room : 4 starving vedmak, cap out in a minute, dead....

это не церба, а мунин - у мунина бонус к скорости взрыва, если у тебя хамловая церба, то у тебя проблемы с донесением урона скорость взрыа/сига взрыва
More cat, IMO
