I grew up in Devils Hole in the 80's and 90's, right next to the entrance to the game lands. The building was a hunting lodge. The game lands used to be partially fenced in as an elk preserve. It was also a speakeasy during prohibition. It then became a ski lodge. It was called Devils Run. There are even still bogey wheels from the old ski lift attached directly to the trees if you look for them. They are painted red. The dam you were looking for is to the right once you walk down the trail to Devils Hole creek. Its only about a 5 minute walk. Another 5 minutes past that is the old Mt. Pocono electric plant. You can actually drive right to that from the railroad tracks that are right next to the game lands. This was fun to watch! I hope this was helpful.

planning on going back to Devils hole . Very cool place. There are giant pullies from the ski lift they must have been covered by the snow. Nice video!

Watch out for hunters that may think you are a deer . Bring a GPS and map of area walking on snow can get you very lost and steer away from mines since you may fall into one and takes time to get a rescue team out to get you . Wear orange vest too . Mark a trail so you can find your way back .

Phoebe Snowland on the Lackawanna Railroad. One of the things that broke the Lackawanna was the flood and damage to their track bed across Devil's Hole. They had to fix it themselves, while government roads and airports were fixed by the government.

Woodsman, my friends and I are from Long Island, NY and are eager to film at these places. Centrailia and the concrete city are at the top of the list, but these hidden gems on the game lands are also on our radar. Do you happen to know the status of the concrete city currently regarding the property? Is it private? Is the area restricted to the public? It would be disappointing to come that far and not be able to visit the place legally. Any information would be appreciated. Love your videos! I have used them to plan our trip!

As far as I know Concrete city is open to the public. It may be privately owned, but visitors aren't discouraged from going. I'm not sure about Centralia though, I've been there a number of times, but recently read an article where they are trying to stop people from visiting and finding individuals, not sure if this is true or not.

There never one video of a mine that he goes into out of all abandoned explorers it’s only him the doesn’t go into any mine even if there wasn’t any collapses or bad air or fuck all if there even was no danger he still even wouldn’t go in the only reason why I subscribed is because I thought he was more of a anverturer not a person the would go hey look a cave or a tunnel but don’t get to close like wtf

are you sure it was a sanitarium that housed mentally ill people? Usually they were known as asylums...sanitariums were where people with TB were sent and there were several in the Poconos....where they could take in the "good air"......just a thought.
