I would love a video where you go over your left hand technique and ideas for that! You always play these awesome basslines with it and it would be cool to hear how you think about playing bass over chords like that. This video was so great, thank you!

I was lucky enough to go to Salford Uni in 2014 at the age of 41 and as a result, I went to a masterclass done by Cory Wong at Band On The Wall but more importantly I not only got to meet a member of the Vulf I also got to meet Kevin Gastonguay, he even gave me a mini lesson on the diminished/altered/super locrian gashizzle. He blew my mind in 10 minutes! Your videos are having a similar effect on me and I can't thank you enough for these videos. From a fellow Englishman, thankyou so very much, you're an amazing player and truly an inspiration to me. Thankyou very much indeed my good fellow! Oh.......I got a 1st in Jazz Performance and Arranging under the tutorship of Tim France and Robin Dewhurst and I now teach privately which after playing since I was 7, was a lifelong dream and now I'm doing it! Beats delivering parcels in a van which was my job in another life. Thanks man, all you do is very much appreciated. Oh........btw........you're an effing MONSTER!!

Absolutely inspiring. Jamiroquai's music has inspired my life long love of funk! Born in 87 and remember when my older brother brought Traveling Without Moving into our room when it released in the early 90s. In fact, my brother sent me here to listen and follow, now time to work on my keys!
This is amazing. I no longer need to have to contemplate having to learn complex classical piano pieces on confusing manuscript to crack this instrument. Johnson makes so much sense and introduces hella scope for improvising without the need for sixteen years of ABRSM examinations.

I am analysing all your tutorials in slow motion ( both audio and video) and i ve learned a lot. i never had the chance to learn music when i was a kid ( i am 49) and tanks to your chords and licks i can improvise , i have made “mine” a few of them and i can play for hours. For the first time i am not doing covers of music from others ( both contemporary or classical) but i can start to play what i feel. i have learned many tricks analysing your videos and the way you play . Even when you make a review of your gear ( like the Vibanet for instance ) i analyse your patterns and play them with other instruments. I have an OBXa and i was very interested with your Moog One video because the sound of the Moog one was disappointing in others videos on utube but if you think the Moog One can “” eat at the same table’’ than the Obxa i have my answer!!! thanks a lot again for your empathy.
