I eat a lot of tofu, I love it haha 😅my husband loves pocky - we haven't seen the winter ones here but we will keep looking! How exciting to find a new rare vegetable to use! I have only cooked with chayote a few times, but I live in the United States, in a small town in Texas and have a lot of friends from Mexico where chayote is used often. dinner looked especially delicious, I will have to try the mushroom recipe. I have never seen yuzu pepper before but now I want to try it! I have always been interested in Japan, for as long as I can remember. I love the culture, the people, anime, all of the wonderful places, the language (I think it sounds beautiful) and the food! my husband and I would love to visit - he has been before, when he was very young, but wants to go back. thank you for another great video 😁

Living in an East-European country the prices are very different. For example, you bought three onions. For the same price we can buy 3 kg. Sushi is much more expensive, but all the drinks (including water) are also more expensive. And when we cook at home (lunch or dinner) the food is enough for two- three days (only reheated each time). Thank you for presenting your daily life which seems to be very different from ours!

What a delectable meal! I’ll like to try the tofu chanpuru and cheese shiitake mushrooms sometime. Haven’t had Pocky snacks for a long time because Japan (Tokyo especially) have way too much great snacks (those egg or peanut butter sandos in convenient packs!) at the kombinis :) I have always been inspired by the Japanese drive towards perfection in everything you do, the rich history (I’m going to visit Sekigahara!) and culture, excellence in quality and variety of products, wonderful nature and very very good food (and sake!). Like any other country, I’m sure Japan also have her share of downsides but as a foreigner or visitor, I shall focus on the positives and everything I enjoy in Japan. Kanpai! 🍶

I am an elderly Sansei and was fortunate to be able to visit Japan for the first time this past summer. My older son spent several years after college teaching English in Osaka and goes back every year to visit. He invited me to come and stay with him. I loved my visit and hope to visit again next year.

What a delectable meal! I’ll like to try the tofu chanpuru and cheese shiitake mushrooms sometime. Haven’t had Pocky snacks for a long time because Japan (Tokyo especially) have way too much great snacks (those egg or peanut butter sandos in convenient packs!) at the kombinis :) I have always been inspired by the Japanese drive towards perfection in everything you do, the rich history (I’m going to visit Sekigahara!) and culture, excellence in quality and variety of products, wonderful nature and very very good food (and sake!). Like any other country, I’m sure Japan also have her share of downsides but as a foreigner or visitor, I shall focus on the positives and everything I enjoy in Japan. Kanpai! 🍶

Very unique cooking rice using clay pot. You guys are very funny and cheerfull. I am an elderly Sansei and was fortunate to be able to visit Japan for the first time this past summer. My older son spent several years after college teaching English in Osaka and goes back every year to visit. He invited me to come and stay with him. I loved my visit and hope to visit again next year.
