Thanks for the great video. The mild-hybrid version isn't available here in Canada unfortunately but I'm definitely waiting anxiously for my sport blue Rio 6-speed to arrive by the end of January.
I just got my Rio GT Line MHEV 120hp last week. In ECO mode and efficient driving I am at 5,5l per 100 km. after around 700km, and another 50km more or less with one full tank. That's around 750km. with a full tank. By no means you are driving it efficiently or safely on those frozen narrow roads mate... 😉
I have a feeling that the US and Canada are waiting to see how the 2021 Rio versions sell in North America and then decide if they want to release and sell them in 2022 instead. The small car segment is definitely disappearing up here as the majority of people want bigger cars with automatic transmissions so they can focus on eating and putting on makeup and playing with their phones instead of actually paying attention while driving. European drivers are the complete opposite and that's why more of those smaller types of vehicles are available.
@@MrJbee1982 I totally agree, but going back 20+ years when I was a driving instructor here in Canada, it was so easy to see how inattentive students were becoming even back then. So it's not that surprising to me that only 2 or 3% of cars sold in North America are manual transmission since it takes focus and concentration to drive one. It's honestly sad and even depressing at times but $ is what matters in the end to companies and the majority of lazy people rules the road unfortunately. The only advice I can give now is to keep as much space as you can between yourself and other drivers. Stay safe. :)

100 bhp this car is fast I drove the 118 version nice sound with exhaust..
How come you have to press the clutch to start the engine😊
Other than the economy benefits, what else is good about this electronic “intelligent” manual transmission. Is it still possible to stall the car?
These cars need it because of the mild-hybrid
Hi can you tell anything about consumption?
About 6 l/100 km - cca 15 % city, 60% highway (140km/h) and the rest are district roads.
@@DrivingCars thank you
Why isn't the mild hybrid available in the United States?

@@Handheldpictures Im in the minority as I love subcompact cars. It's really sad that the small car market is disappearing in the US.
