I noticed Aerodynamics play more of a part in FH5 than previous entries. it is hard getting past that 280 mark in most cars unless they are as aero perfect as the Lotus or Koen

Sesto FE will remain the fastest in terms of consistency.
Top speed related cars are the fastest on straights/light corners.
And for skills, well do not forget my boy X5 M. Event XP, can do 276 MPH and turn astoundingly well.

The Jesko is the best early game investment to 3 star a ton of challenges. Even with zero tuning, you should be able to ace just about everything requiring speed on pavement. 2.8 million credits is good session worth of nice wheel spins away. Worth the investment.

I've found the McLaren F1 GT sinks into the ground still, as long as you have aero parts tuned to maximum downforce. It doesn't seem to glitch the game into thinking the car has less drag, though.
F1 GT from horizon 4 was my ducking baby it was SO GOOD. Was slightly disappointed seeing the reduced speed-acceleration, makes the car less well rounded

Managed to get the Jesko in a wheelspin today and absolutely dominated the Goliath with a self made tune (still needs some work as my car is a little bit twitchy in the rear) the top speed is insane!
Also dominated the goliath, first try with first race tune, 11 mins 20 seconds.

I wondered how they would out do themselves. The horizon series has been the game series that continues to be better than the last while each game being the best of the genre at the time of release. Truly an amazing gift to the world.

The sesto elemento forza edition is the 599xx of horizon 5. It’s broken in a corners. You can do Goliath and colossus damn near flat out. I have that tuned does 269 in a straight line but can do 250 around most turns so long as they are not hairpins

The 1991 BMW M3, S15 Silvia, can both get up to 285+, the nivera, the camaro pro stock, 2024 Mustang are also up the close to 290! DJS made a video of the 15 fastest cars in FH5 and the tuners with share codes! I have them on the 15 cars from the video and they are the fastest cars you can only test on the highway to reach top speed!

Forza Science brings back some good memories
The D-Type will always hold a special place in my heart as something so absurd (iirc 300mph+) including the flappy bit behind your head. If it wasn't so expensive it probably would have been the first car I bought.

2 years later, after seeing this, there's a car I forgot about in my garage. I'm not sure where it would place but its the 2005 Vauxhall Monaro VXR and I've managed to get it to just under 270MPH

I just started forza and had unlocked the jesko in a wheelspin but logged off shortly after and it had not saved. :( I'm not sure if this is a issue or the game needs to be saved manually but I was really upset when I had logged on the next morning. I still love the game and the game's community though the devs really deserve a pat on the back for this game. I could not imagine the hours they had put into the game and how frustrating it must have been. Thank you AR12 for the video it was really helpful.

vehicle weight doesn't affect top speed much. A Bugatti Chiron is heavy as hell. Aerodynamics and horsepower determine top speed
