This video was key in my decision to get a Suzuki Vstrom 650. 30 years ago I only owned street bikes till I had an accident. I switched to four wheelers and loved the off road riding but that fun faded with limit places to ride. With this bike I can do both. This is a dream ride to travel roads comfortably and take a secluded nature ride that I loved doing with a four wheeler.
Was thinking about buying KLR650 for long distance travelling + offroading, but now that I see that vstrom is capable of off road I made a decision to buy it as it must be waaay more comfortable on highways and roads. Also, what about maintenance? How easy or hard is it to repair compared to KLR 650 if anyone knows?
DL 650 I can recommend. I have it since 2008 and I had no malfunction. Maintenance is also simple.when offroad, I recommend raising the motorcycle and installing the engine cover.
So what you get budy i'm on the same i like Klr 650 cheap fun easy to fix but the problem i Made a Lot of highway miles i thinking seriusly get v strom 650
@@pinchi602 lots of vibrations on KLR, very smooth engine for the Vstrom. If you are not planning to do hard off road go for the Vstrom, the only limitation you will have with it is it's ground clearance ;)
Dobrý den, pane Heinz . Opravdu jsem si užil své video , v Brazílii je mýtus mezi vlastníky Strom že tento motocykl není na nezpevněné dráze a její videa dokazuje, že je to lež . Mám v úmyslu stručně měnit pneumatiky z mých 650 v současné době používají Michelin Anakee3 pro jednorázové použití , neboť Brazílie má krásná místa , ale obtížný přístup a jeho videa mi pomohl rozhodnout, dále z použití pneumatiky. Děkuju
Jo to znám, jak je člověk splavenej po pár km offroudu. Koupil jsem na to 200ccm 100kg a to je spíš jak na kole, vůbec se nenadres a to svezení je jedna radost.
Я падал несколько раз, но с небольшой скоростью. Suzuki весит 230 кг, и чтобы его поднять, нужно приложить немного усилий. На велосипеде всего несколько царапин.
They are excelent on dry road, but on wet road u need to be more cautious...They are excelent in light terrain, worse on grass and in mud (I hope you understand)
ok, i see. thanks i live in Portugal, where we have more dry time than wet. Can be a good option for me... you said they are worse on mud and grass, the type of terrain you ride on this video... for my point of view, they did it pretty much well, if they are better than this, so it will be great eheh =)
Moc spokojený. Je to vděčný stroj, s jednoduchou údržbou a prakticky bezporuchový. To potvrdily kluci, kteří jezdili i na jiných strojích. A jestli máš opravdu zájem tak se přidej na facebook do skupiny SUZUKI V-STROM.CZ. Můžeš tam i když nejsi zatím vlastníkem a tam se dozvíš vše potřebné. Je to dobrá parta lidí, co ti rádi poradí.

I have never had a problem with the speedometer or anything else. It's a reliable motorcycle.

How does chain maintenance change when going offroad if you compare it with riding on the street only?
I do not ride offroad that often but I changed the chain after like 35k km

Задней подвески хватает, а вот передняя подвеска мягкая и часто идет до упора. Вот почему я сейчас езжу на Honda Africa.

Prueba innecesaria. Metes un Dr 650 o una Xt 660 por ejemplo, y el desempeño es mucho mayor.
El Vstrom se enfoca en velocidad amigos.
You start riding when engine is cold. This is not good for your bike :(
