Just today schooled a student on New Orleans and second Line drummingMy first experience was in New Orleans in 1972...Every night after our shows, we would go downtown and hear all this fantastic stuff until 4 or 5 in the morning!!! Oh,to be young again.Love the HERTA....LOVE your stuff....MORE MORE MORE.
Thanks for sharing as always!! I know from experience stuff like this is really hard to explain once you've done it a million times. I wish you could tell students "just do it like this!" 😆
@ been diggin on you since I first heard Hittin the Bottle. Then you started covering my friend DG and it sealed the deal for me. Keeping playing and we will keep supporting. Thank you for all the inspiration
Thanks for another great video. I feel like there are not that many tutorials of how to apply rudiments to the drum set. You explain and demonstrate it very well. Somewhat unrelated, are you using a floor tom as an end table? That is pretty genius.
Great stuff brother! I love when we can apply rudiments on the kit in a natural, unforced fashion like this....after we master rudiments, then application becomes natural. And of course our mechanics become enhanced....
Stanton Moore you are the best and I hope you know that and are having a great day. I hung out with you in a bar in Athens ga. By then I had already learned so much. So meeting one of my hero’s was way cool. Thank you is all I’m trying to say!
Looooove that finish on the set. He is playing

School him on anything Garibaldi played on. Try “On the Serious Side” - Tower of Power
You are one talented instructor, my friend. 🤓

So two things 1) Stanton doesn’t seem to age - WTH? 2) every single video I ever watched from Stanton leaves me fully inspired

Sumting wrong with the audio? Sounds phasy and distorted.
Just an effect for the intro I guess?
No challenges here.
This is well in the intermediate to advanced level so I guess I’ll have to come back to this one.
Great lesson tho
