    One question - right at the end when you say you mute it. What are you pressing mute on? It makes sense to not have the feedback but presumably you need Zoom unmuted and your computer sound unmuted, so are you muting on LinkedIn?

      @marketinguncomplicated  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes! That’s exactly right - I’m muting the LinkedIn event so I’m not hearing it back (delayed) and getting feedback. Technically you don’t need to open the LinkedIn event but it always makes me feel better to see it streaming and also be able to see people’s comments while I’m live.

    Hi, Really good video tutorial, I have my first Live event next weekend but am really struggling setting up the stuff in the second half of this tutorial, is there anyone who can help with this as a paid support? The prepare to go live option is only available 1 hour before going live and I fear that this is too late to enable to me prepare in time. Thanks

      Unfortunately, I don’t know of a tech support service for this particular need. I replied to your other comment with a couple of options/ideas for you to consider.

    Is there a way to do a test for the linkedin live before the events? Thank you for this incredibly informative video!

      Great question! Unfortunately, there’s no way to test it ahead of time. I always recommend starting the stream a few minutes early, as you can see how it shows up before you hit the Live button on LinkedIn to officially be Live. Does that help?

    Great video, Kristi! Do you know what happens if we include the LinkedIn event URL, including the comments URL, in the live streaming page URL in Zoom? I included the URL including the comments, and I guess that's what messed up my LinkedIn Live event.

      Great question! I always intentionally delete "comments" from the URL but I am not totally certain if it matters or not.

    Thanks Great tutorial. The 'Prepare To Go Live' button is greyed out for my event and it say's I can only access it 1 hour before the scheduled start time. Is this accurate as I think this will cause me too much stress just one hour before the event?

    • @marketinguncomplicated
      @marketinguncomplicated  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes - this is correct. You can’t do the process too far in advance. One hour is really plenty of time to set it all up. I totally understand though that the first time is especially stressful! 😅 a few ideas to help alleviate the stress about your first LinkedIn live -
      1) Schedule a dry run - which will actually go live but you can create the event and not invite anyone to it. Then when you go live you can explain you wanted to test it out and you can tee up what your next one will be about.
      2) Schedule and invite as you normally would, and have a backup plan to send everyone who registers a Zoom link to join you there just in case you run into tech issues.
      Hope this helps! Good luck to you!

    Hello Kristi, Great Video. I have created an internal group of company members and I would like to specifically invite them to the Linkedin Live event. Is it possible?

    • @marketinguncomplicated
      @marketinguncomplicated  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting question! I think the best way would be to send an email with a link to the event and ask them to RSVP "Yes" to it. (Otherwise you would have to invite them one by one by searching their name when you are in the "Invite" screen on your LinkedIn event. That would be pretty time-consuming depending on how long your list is.) Hope this helps!

    Hello Kristen! Thank you so much, this video was super informative. One question, do I need a specific Zoom plan to host a large amount of participants over a LinkedIn Live?

    • @marketinguncomplicated
      @marketinguncomplicated  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Emily - You should not need a specific type of Zoom plan because when you're streaming, only you (and anyone you're bringing on to speak with) are in the Zoom room. Everyone else would just be watching the livestream on LinkedIn so they're not in your room. Is that helpful? Feel free to find me on LinkedIn and let me know if you have any other questions. Hopefully this helps!

      Hi Kristen!
      To clarify, I can’t capture two audiences here? One which signed up to the event via Zoom, and a second, who follow me on LinkedIn?
      So if I do the Zoom sync with LinkedIn live, only the people who see it on LinkedIn will be able to join?

    • @marketinguncomplicated
      @marketinguncomplicated  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@IzzyOM -hmmm...that's an interesting one! I have not ever allowed people to register for my Zoom event when it's done as a LinkedIn Live. I assume though that if you did that, all of those people who join Zoom would show up on your Livestream with you, and then you'd have whoever is watching the stream on LinkedIn. To be clear - LinkedIn won't tell you who exactly attends. They will give you #s but not names. I always ask attendees to leave a comment so I know they're there so I can get a sense of who attends. Does that help? Might be best if you send me a DM on LinkedIn if you have more questions. 🙂
