Thanks for bringing back the memories, especially the song. One morning, 0 degrees out, my 71 Freightliner wouldn't start, had to get charcoal hot, put it under the engine, a tarp over it to keep the heat in, while recharging the batteries, finally started. It was hard finding charcoal in the winter!
@@DIESELFUMESS had a pal kept charcoal lit under his old Henderson with a detroit plus the dump on a side street in cHicago back in the 70s. Ain't legal then or now? we had cops then that knew a man was just trying to earn a legit buck and didn't bother him. woulda been booted and towed today....
I remember the old gas job B model Mack trucks with the up draft carburetor. When starting in the morning, if the engine coughed and would not start. Get out th e chain and pull it to start. No interest ates and trk was governed at 58
Joe Smith My dad drove one like that back in the day hauling cattle. single drive axle & single axle trailer. Thats when he started driving back in 61 or 62
I love classic cabovers . Keep our heritage alive , buy and restore one !

@Synetearis It's a GMC 9500.
awsome
At 0:24 what kind of truck is that GMC
Not the crackerjack
Wut type of GMC is the truck @ 0:19? Awesome machine!
SylV ... A GMC Brigadeer JI, I believe. The JL's had a longer nose. 95% powered by detroits. They were all you'd see in late 70's, early 80's daycabs.
The GMC at .19 was GMCs version of a C90 chevy. If it was a chevy it would be a C90.
👍🇧🇷
why would someone not like this video?
the first truck is for sale
Pity about the music ( noise)
