- In this video, I used maths, data science and programming to rank the who is the most stable (consistent) singer of the BTS vocal line, which comprises of JIN (Kim Seokjin), JIMIN (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung) and JUNGKOOK (Jeon Jungkook) No bias, no prejudice. Just data.

Jin and JK are the true vocal monsters to the point that even haters can’t shade them ,so stable and yet can hit high notes easily esp Seokjin
Seokjin is very UNDERRATED as a vocalist , he was chosen by sm ent too and we all know sm look for the best vocals
SM saw him in the street and thought he is a good looking man, that the reason why they ask him to audition.
I love Jin but the real reason why SM want him is his look.

Jin and jk are so close too. Vocal legends and Jin got the best score in Dionysius while dancing. Concert goers always say Jk and jin are the most stable and jhope is very stable as well

So why are you here if you’re not interested in BTS? At PTD Las Vegas we met several ARMY of different age groups. Met several above 50+ to 70+ from different States. Met from other countries including Japan, China, Australia and Philippines in their mid 30s to 40s.
but we have to consider the fact that most jin part doesnt include hard dance as much as jungkook's part. Jungkook also have lots of lines compared to Jin. Considering that, we can say that jungkook is alot better in consistency than jin and other member.
What the hell??? Jin got the highest in On and Dionysus?? Those are literally the two most hardest choreography they have and Jin is ranked first. It's no doubt why the maknae line says Jin works really hard. All His hardwork is really paying off.

Jin was not a singer nor a dancer. He was a univ student n was scoutted bcz of his WWH faceu. But he worked hard on subjects that were not his comfort zone. @@Calypso.3145 nope, Jk's range is actually similar to jin's, the difference here is that Jk has more parts and they are actually harder when it comes to the dance part they have in that because most of them are the beginning of the chorus so the steps are harder, Jin's parts are calmer. But still both of them alonsides Hobi are the most stable that's for sure. But Jk is and will the be the main vocalist because he is the best vocalist objectively speaking in BTS. (Then ofc everyone can have biases and faves and think that that is the best one, but I'm talking from an objective side)
I wish they can give Jin was he desrves, Jk has a great voice, that is undeniable but jin is so dam special Without a doubt, he is definitely LEAD VOCALIS MATERIAL , personally i don't think that a singer has to stay in a certain position, art is evolution and Jin has always been an excellent vocalist, an artist should not be defined by a certain position that was given years ago, everyone has improved a lot but Jin is incredible, his hard work , dicipline and determitation really paid off, he just keeps getting better and better in evey single comeback.
Skills change over time and improve therefore it seems a bit strange and unfair to me that they continue to have the same position and do not appreciate the evolution of the artist, at this point Jin has gained enormous ground in terms of his technical vocal ability, regardless of the number of lines (quite unfair by the way)he always manage to stand out, His ability as a singer has been recognized worldwide by experts in the artistic field, producers, vocal choaches , the GRAMY PANEL who give jin one of his many nicknames SILVER VOICE
We must also add that when it comes to transmitting the emotion and feeling of a song, he is definitely the best, i gues is because of his acting skills, i'm happy that finally he is gettig more exposure in the most recent releases. the king of high notes who can do a complicated choreography without losing his stability, this can be appreciated more in live concerts, this was emphasized by one of the best and most renowned musical theater directors calling him belting king, not to mention all the times he goes viral every time bts release a new song, thats the power of our WWH prince Jin. i can only hope bts fan base can stars to appreciate Jin and the rest of the hyung line equally

Jk has extremely good voice technique
No need to compare him with jungkook. Jungkook is technically a better vocalist, can hit high notes. And don't forget that he is lead dancer and center and main vocalist so he has to dance good and sing best as well. He has best breathe control and spends his energy in both singing and dancing. Despite being both lead dancer and main vocalist, he is stable which is very challenging. In their earlier songs he used to rap, sing and dance as well when he was a teenager only but still was so stable. Jin on the other hand is improving day by day. He has so much expression in his voice and so much color too. He is great too, so there's no need to compare them.
Okay let's explain this to you seokjin fanbase on most polite way, when is your part as a singer to sing you are "the center" and all attention is on you so you need to be a good dancer, jin is not a good dancer.. Easiest way to explain..

Jin is very closely ranked to JK’s score but even JK has commented that Jin should be the lead singer. My personal opinion is that Jin has the best voice. His high notes are out this world. Just listen to Epiphany and you can hear perfection at work. Jin was the only one that got a 10 minute ovation when BTS was in Japan. He is definitely underrated.

Jungkook is obviously the most stable vocalist in BTS…. Especially while being the center and singing through heavy dance parts…. Like “dope” and the chorus with his crystal clear vocals. The amount of movement in that chorus is insane .. bouncing his head back and forth and bounce thrusting up like that lol he’s the only one who sings the choruses live every single time… the others rarely do bc the chorus usually has a pop of choreo energy . All of them are strong vocalists with great live vocals .. doesn’t matter where they rank in the group bc each of them is an exceptional vocalist.

I definitely I agree Kim Seokjin is a stable vocalist and I love him 😍. Also would like to point out how unfair bh is with the lines . I mean jimin is doing a lot of hard choreography and most of his lines are with Jin which are the high notes etc and can affect his breathing so there’s a huge load his carrying while singing live, jimin was a performer before he was a singer and I wish they wouldn’t give him too much strain with the lives and choreography. But he always pulls through though still can be mentally challenging for him when he doesn’t do good.Anyway other than that I agree with this because JK and Jin also come out the most stable along with jhope from the rap line.

And i wanna react to your opinion about his " manly style that occasionally causes him to overdance than necessary" just wanna point out that this is live singing with choreo,a combination as performer not just a singer alone,and Jungkook had to balance both vocal stability and hard choreo,he doesn't just stay on safe side of having the stable voice but also to convey the meaning of the song through his body movements,so even if he doesn't open his mouth or for people with hearing impairment couldn't hear what was he singing,viewers still could understand and feel the song just by the intensity of his moves. He doesn't settle for what was being taught,vocal and choreo wise,and that,for me,makes him the best performer in my eyes. He dance not just what the choreo but also what the song requires.
Anyways,overall,this video is great,i appreciate.
Let's not forget that Jungkook has to harmonize and sing the melodies too. Main vocalist and back up singer in 1. Let that sink in.

bts always get the hardest choreography part when jimin, jungkook or Hoseok's part come on while the dance gets slower on the other parts. Dynamite was a fun song with light choreography so you can see Jimin shine in that song. Personally if I had to make a video comparing anyone's vocals I would have gone for the songs they have sung while sitting and then compare him to everyone else :D
Well, I guess, that it’s not that hard to maintain stability while sitting. This video shows how stable they are while being challenged with dancing as well.
@@madamepumpkin yeah but the stability still won't count if for one member it's just standing and walking forward while it's literal gymnastics for the other members part. That's why sitting one is better to evaluate their stability or to check the stability through the parts where all of them perform the same kind of choreography
True Jiminshii is the main dancer in vocal line and he has to dance while singing..and besides he is Lead vocalist for a reason..
I really thought the person was gonna evaluate live performance without choreography. I do think it’s unfair to compare one member who is the main dancer who literally have to acrobatics while singing and another member who purposely doesn’t get hard choreography while singing. Sometimes I feel bad for The dance line cuz of the crazy amount of expectation from them

You can even see the choreography takes a whole 180 turn if members apart from the dance line have to sing the same part as them. I really appreciate how no member was dragged in this video. You pointed out their flaws, but you also pointed out why they might be caused, like how you mentioned Jimin and V being in the dance line affects their stability. You also pointed out some of their strengths. I love how positive this video is. I saw a comment by user-gv2go3zv5e that said you should use audios from when they are sitting in performances like in yet to come to keep it fair for dance line members, but well done with the video. @@Isabel-bs4dr ofc. I am a classical vocalist for 4 years I do understand the vocal techniques. Moreover vocal coaches have praised Jin as the best vocalist, he has the most stability along with in acoustic stage.

This vid shows how underrated Jin is... what bothers me is that the creator of this vid is dissing Jin from time to time talking abt “notice how Jin sings the chorus with the less intense dance moves”... like no shut up
IMHO - JIMIN does not dial back on dancing to save breath for singing & he rolls 💯❣️ Also has some of the most difficult choreo covering large parts of the stage !!! ( & Jhope too). Sorry ...not sorry ....folks - this kinda dumb. All BTS Members are amazinG BUT.. Compare their voices while NOT dancing .....just saying

Thank you for taking into account how choreo affects their stability. I can see why Jimin and V, being on the dance line, would rank lower in On, Airplane pt. 2, Dionysus, and higher in I'm Fine and Dynamite. I can't believe Jin has higher stability in On and Dionysus. I would think he would do better in Dynamite, but damn, the maknae are right-Jin works damn hard. I can believe that he would save his energy. Crazy about Dionysus tho. That choreo is punishing for everybody. They're all damn good. The fact that they're all really stable deserves all our applause. Hell, yeah, JK! 90+ all around for our youngest! Keep munching on those CD's. ❤️✨

People really be forgetting that Jungkook has the highest stability even after habing the MOST LINES, BEING AT THE CENTRE AND WHILE DANCING SO HARD..He doesn't have a naturally high voice like other 2 members..Still, he does them so well
Jungkook really is the most stable vocalist. We all know he goes really the hardest on stage even while singing and he has so many parts than other members including adlibs and backing vocals too, singing choruses while intense choreo and still his stability is that highh is fucking so much more than outstanding. He is so amazing man. RESPECT 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️
Honestly I did expect Jungkook to be first. His vocal expression is very effortless and easy going which causes the stability, but I expected V to be last. Tae might be my favourite vocalist, but not gonna lie, his vocals get inconsistent very easily while dancing or when tired. After all this was calculated using a software, so it will consider ad-libs as unstable, which brings me to my next opinion, I expected Jimin to be second. When you played the audios, I noticed that he was actually more consistent than V and Jin, but the ad-libs were considered as unstable. He also sings with a lot of style, that might have been counted as inconsistent by the software. Actually if I total up all lives, there would have been a tough competition for the second place between Jin and Jimin, but for this one, Jin seemed more unstable than Jimin. Jimin could have even come last if I count many other lives, but over here he seemed to be second. Before clicking on the video, my ranking was exactly the way it is in the video. But listening to the rolled audios, my order changed.

Girl you don't have little knowledge about vocals or software you really don't have if you can sing your 100 percent and the person change your tune on software you are gonna be zero and V vocals jin , jimin and jkncan sing each other parts perfectly but they never able to sing V part in good way you know why because nobody can copy his tones
@@grand584 ummm i honestly think that either you dont have a sense of music or you understood my paragraph wrong... because whatever you said here has very little relation to what i was talking about. by adlibs i mean tune change. by consistency i mean being able to sing the exact same notes as the real song without going off or cracking. and they can actually sing Tae's part depending on the verse. Taehyung is easily able to sing other member's verses, but the other members are often not able to sing Tae's verses because of his low pitch/baritone vocal comfort. But that does not change the fact that he gets unstable in lives. I have a few examples of lives where Tae went off in a few parts. For Jimin, I have even more examples. But in this jimin seemed pretty unstable.
but if this is what you were talking about, maybe i have little knowledge about the programme the creator made. I'm not sure what exactly was the programme judging, but looking at the charts, it seemed to be tune and nothing else.

@@grand584 thats true, but if you here some specific videos he does get unstable sometimes. or maybe i have only watched videos in which V sings unstable? idk. but yes, he does change notes a lot for "adlibs" and he mostly hits them perfectly but if you observe here, he does not go off note but seems to be struggling pushing his voice out. you know as if he is running out of breathe? he does not go offnote here, nor does he crack, but he seems to struggle more than the others. like unstable in a sense "not being able to sing with constant loudness" only in Tae's case.

Bighit edit their voices alot to make them more steady, so the audio was probably a mix between lar(live audio recorded) and live vocals (since their vocals are crazy good)

Jimin has improved so much and I think it’s funny people always say oh yeah it’s just Jimin we’ll if you think about it everyone had been singing their entire lives and he just had started singing and he STILL keeps growing his voice. It gets more and more beautiful everyday and I think he is going to be the most successful and if they would use taetaes voice right we could see the great side of it
