Cheers Paul👍 Damp and covered with it by the time I got back home, it was definitely grim out there 🌧🌧 It was probably a very similar experience to your day out with Damien And we do this for fun😉
Nice ride! 13:5113:52 Roads look so narrow. I will never complain about our roads here in the US. What was the temp during this ride? Also, what was your ride time?
Thanks again Dave👍. We use a lot of the quieter roads where possible which are mainly in the countryside, so you get farm traffic on them hence the muddy conditions when its raining 🌧. Not all our roads are narrow especially the busy one's. Temperature on the ride was around 8deg Celsius dropping a couple more or so after dark/5pm. We set off at 8am got back 9pm,ish 214km or 133miles plus my ride home a couple more 😉
No worries (I do too) . I asked because I am just starting (about to start) doing audaxs at the age of 57! I have signed up for LEL and wondeered how fast typical audax cyclist go (I am slow). I am from a running background - so all the people on my Strava are runners. Thanks for the videos - it is all very informative :) @@Bijou-Bob
@@craigmurray8193 I only started audaxing 4/5 years ago and I'm a similar age to yourself. I wouldn't worry too much about time as it's about getting round before it closes. Some finish a 200km 7/8 hours, I'm more 11/13 hours. Give it ago, I'm sure you're like it.👍
I’ve enjoyed video well done thanks.
Thankyou @sandykeith5652 🙂
Nice to know you have enjoyed watching
Nicely done!
Thanks Nigel 👍
It had it all apart from the sun 🌞
Chapeau Bob.
Have you cleaned all the mud from every crack and crevice yet? Grim conditions!!
Cheers Paul👍

Thanks @theralphster8492👍
The weather put a stop to any loitering taking place 😉
You did very well considering the rain 💧☔️
Thanks @Bijourain69
It was miserable weather throughout the day 😉
