Great guide, thanks a lot. Last boss does a spinning attack that deals tons of damage right after the 5 man red circle attack. Also, at around 5% hp, the boss stops attacking and if you don't kill it fast everyone dies

Dude, that was fast! The problem with a lot of guides is that people explain mechanics they already know, they know where to look during certain phases, they're just talking about something that's obvious to them so not really didactic. They don't put themselves in the shoes of someone who has no idea. Hopefully this will inspire more people to do this type of guides. Because still today, if you go to Svardborg or even Demogorgon, you see people who make the same mistake over and over again. If they could visualize things, maybe they'd finally get it (the most common being the people who go die alone away from the group when they have 4 arrows, even in LOMM 1st boss). Great work right there.
Magnificent guide. Simple, makes perfect sense, and even has a few mistakes, which helps show what it looks like when you miss a step, get caught out of position, etc. One question: final boss, when you say burning tiles are "unusable", does that mean they become some sort of instakill, or just a massive dot? Just curious what the margin for error is because that playing area was getting mighty small, which I asume also means that this is a kind of dps race before the entire playfield is on fire.
@@RainerNW Bout how much damage? It seems like if you can time a bomb right and you step on an 'unusuable tile' then maybe you can survive dmg enough to 'save tiles' ?
Nice guide, let's me as a tank understand my job, just unlocked it and saw people asking but didn't know, will need to find the stat caps so i know if i'm even close. i should be ok, but health/deflect might be a bit too low
Dang this company love to use reskins. Mechanics doesn’t look difficult it just hurt if you mess up. Great guide! I’ll show my friends so we get ready for the dungeon.
Mechanics individually is fine - boss 1 is easy if you clear the portals and avoid adds. Boss 2 is a tank check. Boss 3 requires teamwork to not f up the whole area.... Mechanics-wise the dungeon is pretty decent - it's just that the rewards are not that great right now....
So anyone on preview played the buff GF dps if so how's the damage increase? I still believe there is potential for a solid build boss destroyer with this class
Defense caps at 85k, but this isn't ToMM... capped defense with high HP is not needed. You will fairly easily get to 80k defense though with 300k+ HP which should be fine (basically sme as ToMM and your gtg)
@@RainerNW ty very much. HP is at 340k with 86k def. I'll leave as is until comfortable then swap some HP for power. Wasn't sure if was as unforgiving as Tomm. Ty again :)
So, I'm running as a HR build too and wanted to know if I dont have the books for artifacts, what's the best one to use? I have staff of flowers, wyvern knives, music box and trobriands ring. Knives as my main, any suggestions?
I bet that when the last boss is 'charging' then just like for instance in 'Throne of the Dwarfen Gods' (where the gates have to be broken) the relevant player has to AIM WITH THE BEAM at something to get the engine crash into (maybe into the chaines in front of some doors?). likely such kind of action would reset the floor or part of that or something like that (maybe even again with water like in 'Craigmire Crypt' at the end boss) ...
@@RainerNW yep, i had that combination at first in my posting too (but removed it to keep it simple. it was more about the general idea. another combination was that the tiles switches back to their former state, but i guess they kept it rather simple) ... if it is like that then it was interesting to know if it is enough if the surfaces of the tiles are just touched or if the machine has to cover it mostly/completely while charging across ...
i also wondered if (to avoid the spread of burning tiles) the party could jump in the relevant situation on an already burning tile - as late as possible and while buffing/healing etc. (and jump of course quickly out after the impact. with correct timing it might just be a short time span). but that might be too complicated (unless all/most survive relatively ok even without exact timing). anyway, one should be able to calculate if it is possible to survive the burning tiles damage (with buffs/healing etc.) and/or how long - at least a kind of approximation to proof if the idea has a chance of success ...
I have the one question for the devs. I and im sure many of us wants to see how devs will play and "finish" (of course its impossible) this dungeon with setup the warlock dps, fighter dps, tr dps, fighter tank, cleric healer.
I played a ranger, 2 wizards, a paladin healer and a paladin tank. But that was just because thats what was available, not because its the best combo 😊
@@RainerNW Yes I understand - I'm a main DC and didn't see my class represented. With Mod 17 they opened up the healing role to paladin as well who has more options than the DC now. I still enjoy the DC though.
Hey rainer, I was curious how lowering the opponents defense works with armor pen, and how much a dmg increase it gives you? as an example if your lower your opponents defense by 15% ... how muh of an increase in dmg is that?
@@RainerNW So for example armor pen goes through 50% of the defense so for tomm their defense goes to 40k, if someone uses blaster scepter the enemies defense goes to 34k. So getting rid of 6k defense wouldn't give a dmg increase? I would think it would make your abilities do more dmg. But I honestly don't know how these calculations work.
@@rustyking23able arpen does not reduce defense. Arpen penetrates defense. In tomm halasters defense is at 80k, so you need 80k arpen. If you use defense debuffs that 80k can go down, and if you somehow manage to get it below 0, which costs a lot of effort, he will take extra damage.
