I'm from CR and I live near downtown San jose and it's fun to see locations that I walk by almost on the daily basis on a channel talking about my country. Glad you had a great time here.
It's furnny but all the sounds that you can hear on this video are annoying or I just ignore but watching and hearing it on your video hits differnent. That food you ate at the Central Market is called Casado. I belive the name came from a tipical dish referring to what a Married man would normally eats, hence the name Casado (married man).

Yes i did. A taxi ride from the aiport to downtown san jose should be $20-$30. If you choose uber than you have to walk outside the airport. Its a small airport so you can walk for 3-4 minutes. Your uber driver will tell u the meet up location nearby. make aure to negotiate if pick a taxi

I stayed at Cando Apartments on Central Avenue, right behind the Jade museum. Great location. 10 min walk to the maket on the same main walking street you see in the video.

One should be careful in Central Market area. Some body pulled by gold bracelet and ran away. I have shouted to catch but no body helped. I was so disappointed visiting Costa Rica. New visitors/travelers should be very careful to avoid this type of incidents
