Great name for an emergency waypoint.
I DIDNT NOTICE UNTIL I READ YOUR COMMENT😂😂😂 wow I needed a laugh, thx m8
Waypoint CHUNDA would have been a bonus.
OFFUK LOL
I do fly there occasionally and what makes it even funnier is that OFFUK is the IF for the RNP 25 approach. The arrival is a snake procedure however very often you get a direct to this point leaving unprepared crews about 4000ft high on profile. - OFFUK
First thing I saw! Came here to comment this!
If only US ATC was as easy to understand as this Polish chap
In the US, it's usually a competition to be the biggest asshole when communicating with a foreign pilot who has been awake for 18 hours having flown through 12 time zones.
ATC is talking slowly because his English is not that good. He couldn't talk any faster, probably. But at least he is very clear.
@@tdfbbfhk786dBad English isn't an obstacle to talk fast. I guess this person just correctly estimates his English level, so he talks in the manner pilots can understand him. That's really great quality for atc
Quick recovery to the first officer 🙏
I noticed the problem with can/can't pronounciation and then the controller trying to confirm they said they couldn't taxi.... it became impossible to answer (to deny a negative) and so they both resorted to universal "OKAY"! Well done to all concerned. Pilot flying had his work cut out!
Would probably be better to say cannot instead of can't.
How about using standard phraseology? “Affirmative to taxi” or “negative to taxi”.
Thanks for uploading this, great visuals as always
Thank you for watching!
Love Air Serbia pilot`s accent :)
...and his "Five Five Five Five Five Five Five Seven" Squawk.😄
100 % ex yugoslavia 😂
I readed about this incident at the Aviation Herald. Thank you very much for picking it up!👍 Hopefully the incapacitated Pilot has recovered meanwhile and can fly again. All the best to him!
And it was a very clear and concise Radio Communication by all sides!
Very good video, just a quick correction however. At 7:33 the Ryanair pilot said : dziękuję, do widzenia (not dobry dzień). But it's a small detail. Very competent and clear ATC btw, not always the case
In English: Thank you, Good Bye.🙂 Dobry Dzien would mean: Good Day.
@@NicolaW72not would but could :)
@@RobertPodwika Sorry?
@@NicolaW72it could mean "dobry dzień" or "dobrego dnia" or "dzień dobry" it doesn't mean it would mean that, it depends on the context and interpretation.

@VASAviation 07:30 "Do widzenia" that means "Goodbye / See you"
According to Google Translate, yes, widzenia mean goodbye in Polish..

"Approach, we would appreciate an expedited landing. The cockpit really smells bad."
What a great controller.
Just noticed you added a clock so we can follow the real speed of the event.
It's been there for years now
Passengers charged Ryanair medical landing fee.
Would you be able to do LS109 Glasgow to Antalya, diverted to Budapest for a medial emergency? (Tuesday 19th Dec)
(...) direkt OFFUK.
Probably the reaction of the pilot when his colleague faithed
That waypoint tho... 😂
One minor correction would be that EI-IHW is a 737-8200 (MAX), not an 800.
Glad they all didn’t have the fish dinner! (Movie Airplaine reference)
Copilot had the lasagna
OFFUK thats what the captain said when the FO vomited all over his instruments lol
Ryanair mayday acknowledged proceed to offuk 😂😅
This plane was not a Boeing 737-800, it was actually a 737 MAX 8
Anothee reason to pilots to have different dishes served to them. Hope pilot is recovering
Don’t eat the fish!
Severe vomiting is often caused by norovirus, which doesn't need to be spread through contaminated food. All you have to do is touch an item someone incubating the virus has previously handled (e.g. a doorknob, a pen, a device), then touch your mouth.
The good thing for this pilot is that he'll be back in the cockpit as soon as he recovers and gets a clean bill of health. That could be in as little as a week.
I don't think they get anything "served" on Ryanair, unless they bring their own meal. 😉
They don't have crew food on Ryanair.
Probably a bad pint!
@@basfinnis those cookies are evil too *tin foil hat on
The fine hairs on my arm stood up at the name Krakow.
Like a james bond movie
Peter?
Wasn't caused by a fish dinner was it?
Quick on set followed by violent vomiting is the symptoms of the current gastrointestinal bug currently hitting both europe and North America. It's the worst g.i. bug of the last 10 years....
Give the plannedemic nonsense a rest matey, the criminal governments spread the bull enough without you doing it too
You're the pilots GP?
Does anybody have more information about what happened to this pilot? Nausea and sudden dizziness could be a relatively benign problem, but they are also common heart attack symptoms.
Much more common these days, I wonder why ?
Appearntly he had burger king meal(or some sort of fast food) with him, which wasn't the best UK quality
Mid 20s, male...he prolly violated the pilots rule of: no smoking within 8 hrs of the flight, and no drinking within 50 feet of the plane!
he's had all his clot-shots, same reason half of the planes flying are having crew medical emergenices and diverting. It was hardly ever heard of it prior to 2021, but now it's happening every day. People remain in denial, especially those with a full bingo card.
@@wagmiorngmiI work in aviation for a few years, and there’s no observable increase in medical emergencies from 2019 to today…unless of course you have statistical data to back your claim up and prove me wrong.
We both know you don’t, ‘cause everything you “know” is based on your feelings, beliefs and observations, rather than solid facts.
2:13 - but not on oxygen
I hope that FO was okay. Constantly vomiting every 20-30 minutes is awful.
O'Leary still wants one-person cockpits ?
LADS ON TOUR
It is a pax incapacitation, not a pilot!
LOL, the Coinciditis strikes again !
So they aren't able to taxi, are they? Still confusing.
Yes they are, Controller misunderstud them
Unless I am completely mistaken, which is very possible, the 737's only have nose gear steering on the left hand side. But apparently it was the right hand pilot who had trouble.
How do native English speakers distinguish between "can" and "can't"? They are clearly pronounced differently in the English we learn at school, but it is almost impossible to tell them apart in everyday speech.
@@anpanmanmiru Weak forms! In American English, the t in "can't" can actually be silent. The difference between the two words is primarily in the pronunciation of the vowel, which is almost always strong in negative words, but is very short (or nonexistent) in "can". So trying to emphasize that you meant "can" by pronouncing it more clearly doesn't really work. It's a confusing feature of English for most non-native speakers. Here's an excellent video on the topic: th-cam.com/video/qlbGtEg68x4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-angZokUcyWRc6T4&t=814

Ryanair, will do anything possible to land as fast and hard as possible
No.
Honestly I do not understand that constant Ryanair hard landing shit. I've flown Ryanair quite often and they did normal landings... So what's the point?
@johannesschmidt9580 the point is they have no experience themselves so they rely on others
@@johannesschmidt9580 Ryanair often lands at smaller airports with shorter runways (e.g. Luton: max 7,000ft), and for this reason can have firmer landings than airlines that land to larger airports with long runways (compare to Heathrow: max 12,800ft). It doesn't mean they don't care or are bad pilots, but to passengers who don't know why they are landing this way that can be their impression. If they actually did slam the aircraft down due to carelessness, they could risk bouncing and extending the landing length which is often not an option.
@@user-vc7ep7xj7sI rely on your mom. She does have plenty of experience 🫶🏻
If Malaysia did have this excellent ATC tower on 8th mars the enigma of MH370 should never happend. 😢
Huge respect to this guy in Krakow ATC that handles the job 100 % Professional ❤
What do you mean? ATC did their job in Malaysia. Which part of the ATC communication with MH370 are you talking about?
@@IMR95
Are you death serious or just kidding with me?
Part 1 to the end was terrible!
The rescue center started their rescue search 6:00 AM when the aircraft should be in Beijing!
MH370 vanished 1:21 and they did not even became serious until 2:00 AM KL Time!
@@Nicosshalagalanis I guessed you haven't watch the latest documentary on TH-cam. I dont know the exact time, but Malaysia were always trying to communicate to the plane, but it did not respond. They also use some radar stuff to pin point where the aircraft could be, but it was very inaccurate, therefore they started the rescue late.
Anyway read this carefully. I don't know how a rescue is supposed to be the ATC job at that moment. The last transmission they received with the plane was the captain saying "Good Night, Malaysia" when they were close to crossing vietnam airspace. Malaysia ATC's job was done, it then move to Vietnam's ATC, but they were too busy to noticed that the plane never enter Vietnam's airspace.
@@IMR95
I have seen almost all the videos that are uploaded and always does a update almost per 48 hour on youtube to see if there is some update.
Malaysian ATC tower made 2 satelite phone call to the plane and wrote 3 ACARS message to contact Ho Chi Ming tower, that is all my dear friend..
I know that captain Zaharie made it difficult for all the acting parts and the only way to track MH370 was with fighter jets.
And I am convinced that if Malaysian ATC tower should be serious on the critical time 1:21-2:00 the fighter jets and malaysian military should with almost 99.0 % found it..
Anyway happy new year to you bro and we can only hope that the latest work from Richard Godfrey with friends are correct to solve this F…* mystery that makes me crazy where the mainbody of MH370 is located.
That should be really greate now when its almost exactly 10 years ago..
Overworked and exploited pilots with so called "special contracts"
Probably vaccinated.
Ryanair are fairly quite in the winter especially November but like everyone else fly roughly 800 hours. These guys were flying out of Luton, so hardly on the worst contract.
Such a typical polish accent 😂
My comment disappeared, sounds like the incapacitated pilot was jabbed.
Seriously? Sounds like someone consumes too much Qanon content.
@Kman22950 I absolutely cannot stop laughing at the fact you're trying to imply no one ever caught a stomach bug before vaccines? That's actually hilarious
Sounds like someone skimped on the “ability to think for themselves instead of spouting conspiracy theories” fee.
It probably disappeared because it’s a stupid comment filled with assumptions. People still get sick, did you know that? Or is every sickness now somehow related to one vaccine?
Sounds like disinformatiya to me, Comrade.
Their Airline license should be revoked and they should be punished with Million EUR fines.
….okay…..but why?
They do comply with all the laws that are applicable to them.
Fine them for an unfit pilot?
Why?
It's not like this stuff happens on every single flight or that Ryanair recruit cadets who are unfit to fly
I would have to disagree with your comment here 😕
