Hello, thanks very much for this video excellent! May I ask a few questions: 1. what kind of salary a doctor from the UK applying for a GP role with the required 2 years post internship experience can expect? You mentioned up to 15,000AED for other continents/non-tier 1 countries 2. Can I start the application process/DHA and data flow before the 2 years experience is completed? For example at 1 year 10 months to get everything ready? 3. Is there good job prospects at GP level for such a candidate from the UK, or am I better off staying in my home country and completing training/exams for example MRCGP first then applying for specialist/consultant post? Just as this takes very long here 4. Is it better for me to apply for govt/military work? 5. Is the work for GPs good for long-term work or is it a short term contract
Thanks for your comment. 1. The salary structure mentioned is for Fresh GPs. For the UK doctor, it may vary depending upon the health facility you apply at. Tentatively, you may expect 20k to 40k AED. 2. You will need to have required duration experience certificate to be verified by dataflow. 3. It is always been ideal to apply after MRCGP/MRCP for specialist/consultant role. Still, there are good prospects for UK doctor as GP. 4. Govt/Military is always been ideal places for expats, offering good pay and other incentives than private sector. 5. It's good to work as GP as long as you wish to grow yourself academically and clinically for specialist/consultant role.
Thanks for your comment. Due to job saturation in UAE, specially in Dubai, it has become quite rare to get a job (specially entry level job) from your own country.
