Such a great explanation. I've been rocking 1.2 from the beta and I have never look into this... and it is so damn useful. Writing drum and bass drum lines will be so much easier from now on!
@@RonCavagnaro I went and looked it up, it's quite pricey for me. There is a Behringer drum machine that I am looking at getting, but even that can wait a bit.
@MikeFoerster yes that might be a good option or maybe look into circuit tracks which is a really great groovebox. In your case you could just record the base percussion track in to your tascam and just record over. You're pretty well versed in that part of it. But yes there's more modern gear to look into!
Struggling to find the “internal transpose” feature in the docs for the community firmware. Does this transpose every midi clip by the scale? Wondering how similar it is to the harmonizer function on the OXI or the brain function on the OP-XY. Seems like it’s a bit simpler and just transposes the note rather than intelligently matching the note to what would sound best in the scale. Can you provide any more insight into how it works or help me find documentation on it? Thanks!
OK this is mad. The automation bit is mind blowing. I have just spent some time totally mangling a sampled loop using it. It's like what I love about digitakt but probably better in some ways - aka it's like the famous trigless trigs. Tho it's a bit weird. Not all modulations were available to me on say a kit I made with several loops. Available say on pad 1 which had a rhythmic loop but not on pad 2 which I had a piano loop on. In this case the reverse disappeared. Wonder why? Epic though. This has got me proper excited!
@ oh I'm not sure. (Stepped away from it now as I'm tired). Will try and repeat tomorrow. I'd like to try it on a pure audio track too but maybe it's not a thing on those
All deluge 1.2 Chopin firmware tutorials will be added to this playlist th-cam.com/play/PLQvVnhG7o2yTabzBZM0Uz2pU4ep5aF31i.html&si=Ru_VMUDVVF6CwkDr
Correction 4:59 you can tap the end tail pad and itll reduce the length by a pad!
Dang! Deluge is getting really good haha. I've been GASing for Deluge for almost 3 years now.

Bom cah Bom cah, Bom Bom cah, cah Bom cah.
This is a game changer, i rarely use velocity because its so time-consuming. Great track btw! :)
Wow this is awesome!! Definitely cool to have more sequencing modes, and the automation view just keeps getting better, thanks Ron keep em coming!
Thank you so much for all your tutorials, they are so helpful 👏
That's easier than what I go through to make stuff for the DR-03.
@@MikeFoerster oh yes beware Mike there's a lot of expensive sequencing gear heheh

Amazing Feature! Love it!
Thanks Ron! Really helpful:)
Wow this is cool thanks for sharing
internal transpose seems to be working better than with the beta.. a bit more "does what you think it's going to do" now. 🙂
