Hello from across the Atlantic on the East Coast of the US. Just found your channel and enjoyed watching and catching up. We are boaters but unfortunately not sailors. If we had it to do again we would chose the sailing over power. You have yourselves a beautiful boat with a wonderful name! I look forward to your next video.

So glad to have met you today on TH-cam. You brought sunshine to a rather gloomy Greece. What with Covid wrecking havoc, which translates to a severe lock down, and an idiotic war in our neighborhood , coming, by chance upon you totally changed my mood for the better. Will keep in touch for sure with definitely happier postings.. wishing you all the best ..
I told you that your channel will Blow Up if you kept those videos coming and stayed the same Humble Loving people you are. I just had no idea it would happen so quickly! Congratulations on the 10 thousand! I know its only a start for you two. Soon enough you'll look and the number will increase 100 fold. Fantastic Name for Her! Couldn't be happier for your first success! Fair Winds and Following Seas.
Thanks for the happy trip down memory lane. Cremyll Ferry; Mount Edgcumbe and the Edgcumbe Arms; the Folly overlooking Plymouth Sound and Drake's Island and the walk around to Kingsand and Cawsand. I've lost count of how many times I made that walk with friends on a Summer Sunday afternoon, after the Sunday lunchtime Folk Club in the Edgcumbe Arms; a venue which was also used every Christmas, for the Plymouth Folk Scene's annual Carole Service. The carols we sang, were not the versions most people know, but local versions which the people of Devon and Cornwall have been singing in their communities for hundreds of years. That was back in the 1970's, '80's and '90's, but I have no idea if it still happens, as many of those who attended are long gone. I'm no 'Spring Chicken' myself, being a pensioner of 74 years. A happier time in my life, which I've sadly been obliged to leave behind. 'The Heart is Willing', but the body is not. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
Oh wow, hearing about it all makes my heart fuzzy! I would love to hear the Devon and Cornwall versions of the carols- i wonder if they still sing them now! Hopefully our videos will respark memories of this place 😊
Greetings from California. Love the name. I was Born in south wales in Brigend but my parents moved to North london palmers green when i was one. Have fun guys the boat looks great. cheers.
Hi Both, another good video, as soon as you show you both Sailing, it will hit the 200k viewers and 50k subscribers. it is wonderful to see the younger generation smiling, the last 2 years have been difficult for us all, including a valuable lesson, that time is not endless, use it wisely "keep smiling"
Thanks Mark, sailing vid coming soon- it should be next weeks Patreon video 😊 the last two years have been rough but the last two weeks- the best. Tonnes and tonnes to smile about now 😊
A couple of thoughts for your channel. 1) As a musician (retired) I always wish that information/mention of the artists music used in the video's would do wonders for struggling artists. 2). Never lose site of the fact that, what is truly endearing about this type of channel are the struggles/creative solutions one must find to maintain this kind of lifestyle. Cheers and congrats!
Usually we use epidemic sound which is all done for you, but this time we collaborated with a local artist and it felt really important to put his name in the video and description- he deserves all the recognition! There sure are a lot of struggles but also some beautiful successes- the yin and yang 😊 Glad you enjoyed and thanks for your comment 😊
@@TeuluTribe If he's still around the Plymouth Folk Scene, look up Ben Campbell, an excellent Singer. You'll find some of his stuff on TH-cam. He sings a couple of songs written by another Folk friend of mine, Jon Benns, both of whom I've known since the mid- 1970's, when I lived down there. You could also look up the Lakeman's. Geoff - an excellent concertina player - and his son, Seth, a fiddle player and singer/songwriter. You have no idea just how big the Plymouth Folk Scene was, thirty years ago, with dozens of excellent singers and musicians. Several of them are still around, but I've no idea where they hang out these days.

@@TeuluTribe If nothing else, Uma Nation is worth watching because their camera work is superb, probably the best you'll find on any sailing channel. I watched you using that toothbrush. Talking about collecting tools, I had a thing for toothbrushes and kept every used (and even new) toothbrush I could get my hands on! They turned out to be among some of the most useful things you can have on a boat, or at least I thought so. Love the name, incidentally. I watch the "Uma Nation" channel a lot, it seems to have the same vibe as what you are trying to achieve with "Teulu," I think.
Thanks for your comment Leo. Haha, its the first time i have had one and it has come in so handy! Glad you like the name- will have to check out Uma Nation 😊
@@TeuluTribe If nothing else, Uma Nation is worth watching because their camera work is superb, probably the best you'll find on any sailing channel. Sometimes they set up a camera and just let it roll for half an hour or more. All you see is waves and Uma's bow rising and dipping and rolling, without any commentary. It's mesmerising.
@@leonaessens4399 sounds it!! Thanks Leo!
