P.s Deborah's voice is absolutely AMAZING to say the least. And she's so passionate in her delivery. Really does remind me of Whitney. Wow! She definately should've been more recognized
chrissellasturridge102;I saw an interview by her years ago and when asked why she never attained the level of fame Whitney Houston(her label-mate and personal friend) did, since her vocals are inarguably comparable to Whitneys',Deborah said:"To attain the level of fame that Whitney had would require a LOT more of me than I'm willing/able to GIVE to the industry. I'm married with children and to get to the level Whitney was at, would require me to withdraw from my husband of 20 years and my children, and that's too great of a sacrifice for me to make." 😮

The beat sounds like a melody you would hear during Sunday morning church services. This is why I love music like this so much. That's why the emotions are so deep. Sometimes you get so emotional and not knowing why.

What an incredible force!! I can't wait to hear more of Deborah Cox and her amazing vocals. 'Back when music was music' hits it for me. It's no wonder that the casting people picked her vocals to be behind Ya Ya DeCosta in the new Lifetime Whitney Houston movie. NO one will ever replace Whitney (or Luther Vandross, either) but it's wonderful that this Icon of American Music is garnering interest for a whole new generation that has known nothing but mediocrity in the music world. And Deborah DOES look like Michelle O'Bama - - before I even heard Cox for the first time I noted this strong resemblance.

Deborah Cox was my favourite in 200/2/3/4 during my long university nights of assignments and exam preparations. The late DJ Eddie Zondi used to play this beautiful song like there's no tomorrow. I loved it then. I still love today in my working days.
2020, that note still gives me goose bumps! Whatever they call music now is NOTHING compared to this. I agree she along with a long list of real singers were so underrated because they would rather show their talent instead of their bodies!
So true you know, our kids will never know real music unless they listen to songs from 70's-80's-90's. The 90's was just amazing, so sad we can not return.
If you're still listening to this song may God bless you with a true love.❤️

One of her background singer is a beautiful actress now , she was in dreamgirls, why did i get married ,and a few other movies.
Very beautiful 🔥
No booty-shaking, no nude voluptuous women, no ganja smoking just pure sentimental music.
That's can only be the 90's, what an era it was.

I love it when an artist can pull their high notes. She was fantastic.
Deborah cox is very great an artist ,not many singers can match her vocals, im enjoying this.

Best part
Here I'm again with a broken heart to find some hope through her voice
When you're in love
Some things you take for granted
Until someone pulls it apart
And leaves you with half of your heart
How do I trade
The best I had for less
Without giving up
Should I slowly accept that we'll be no more than just friends
How do I know
When to let go
I know what I'm feeling inside
But part of me still wants to try
So tell me
Where do we go from here
Why's my heart filled with so much fear
When all that you are
Is all I need and more
There's no winning bets
The battle's just begun
I know it's over
But I still feel the same
You'll always remain number one
'Cause letting go
More and so much
I know what I'm feeling inside
But part of me still wants to try
So tell me
Where do we go from here
Why's my heart filled with so much fear
When all that you are
Is all I need and more
So tell me
Where do we go from here
Why's my heart filled with so much fear
When all that you are
Is all I need and more
Letting go
More and so much
I know what I'm feeling inside
But part of me still wants to try
So tell me
Where do we go from here
Why's my heart filled with so much fear
When all that you are

One of the original Canadians to make it cross boarder along with Tamia😃!
While y'all playing,Debra is about a 9.6 on a 10-point scale!!
You playing. I am not playing. At all.
Beautiful voice! True to life lyrics. One of my favorite singing Artists bcuz she's one of the tops
"Without giving-up,should I slowly ACCEPT that we'll be NO more than just---------friends?!?" A truly tragic thought. 😢
Whose listening in 2019?
